for domain names use https://www.oneandone.co.uk
and for hosting use dataflame.co.uk
I can highly recommend both

Oneandone aren't great when it comes to changing nameservers/transferring domains.
They don't give you full control of domain settings and they charge for services such as transfers and support can take upto 3 days.If you're feeling down, you must be holding a duck.0 -
Big thank you to everyone for your advise and help. Im considering 1&1 or 123-Reg. They seem good to me and for a reasonable price :j0

send me a PM if you are interested, i can offer you a great deal0

cjb.net
get free URL forwarding with (most of the time) less ads then .tk0 -
I got 3 free domain names from 1&1 a couple of months ago
I dont know if the offer is still on
A .co.uk name is cheap anyway, .eu or .com gets a bit more expensiveIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -
You could get .co.uk for £1/year at webspace2me.org.uk Very cheap but do avoid them as there is literally no customer support at all. I wanted to change the DNS servers to my hosting company but I can't do it myself in the Control Panel.
After one week (or was it two weeks?) I am still waiting for a response from their non-existent customer service!!0 -
123reg.co.uk for cheap domains and use https://www.jamroll.net for free.
Loads of people on here using jamroll.net with no problems at all. FREE! with no lame ads.0 -
You can see also computerbar's post here for details of a Microsoft free .com/.net/.org scheme. It's not for me, but might work for you?0
