You use this forum to mislead again. You failed to mention that the price you quoted does not include your monthly "club" membership fee, and this must be added on before attempting to compare uw prices with anybody elses.

Is there a website which lists daily business gas and electric prices in kwh as in the past when i ask for a quote with some sites online they always follow up with someone calling and it gets annoying when you've told them I'm only shopping around yet they seem to keep calling every week:mad:

The £10 they take is part of their credit check and is normally credited back to you on your second bill.

Did the person who signed you up not mention the monthly membership fees?

Business customers i believe pay £2 a month membership.

For business, gas in that area is as I believe as quoted and the monthly membership is for the discount club two quid. Work it out for yourself, if it's OK with you go for it, no contracts which leaves you free to leave as when you please, (28 day notice) unlike most business energy suppliers.

if its 2 quid a month thats ok, i couldnt get a better price anywere and having no contract is a bonus as i suspect that gas will be on the way down soon surely it has peaked.

and no no one told me of this payment, i only saw the 10 quid one payment on the sighn up forms.

by phoning them and being proactive they now quote

4.2p pkwh and 8.9 standing charge

so, double that of last year. if i didnt phone up it would have been triple meaning that an average monthly bill of 300 quid would have been 900 :eek:

so get phoning around

im thinking 1 year fix as price can only come down
