This new thread titled Network Marketing shall be used for discussion and debate about the NM industry.Anyone whom has questions wether or not to join a NM company, what exactly is NM and what can be expected from it.

I myself have been in a NM company now for 9 years and so i do have quite a bit of knowledge to pass on. Most companies work along the same basis but there are differences within each companies procedures.

When choosing a company its probably best to choose a company with products or services to which you have some knowledge or experience. How many hours per week can you put in? Can you attend training meetings? Does the company provide training? What will your goals be? Do you want a part time income or full? Does the company provide promotions? Etc,etc.

So if you have any questions i will do my best to answer them for you so dont be shy, post away!

Maybe I'm cynical but this 'official' post (which it isn't) was created by you purely for people to ask you what company you are with and for you to PM them a reply?

You are being cynical my friend.I promise you and any others that may question this thread that it is intended for debate only. I have removed my usuall signature and will not disscus my company on this thread at all.I do not want to promote myself on this thread or my company. There was once a thread which was removed because someone kept repeatedly advertising their biz. Many have asked for it to be relisted and one of the moderators said if you want the thread back then start one, so here we are.
    Hope that helps.

You curiously tell us to follow a link to find out "what this thread is intended for".

That link doesn't mention this thread at all!

Why waste our time with your pseudo official introduction to the thread?

No wonder you are getting people questioning your motives - particularly in view of the general understanding of network marketing being just a new name for pyramid selling, and the history on here of uw reps posting to try and advertise their business in any way they can - often without declaring themselves to be a rep for uw!

Quentin, as you know this topic is open for a great debate. The understanding of the business is crucial for anyone interested in making that important decission. In the present climate more and more people are looking at this business and asking the question, can i make extra money which i badly need. But understanding it properly before embarking is all important.

As i said earlier Quentin my sig has been removed as i do not want to promote my biz on this site.

In the true history of a uw rep, you post a reply, but ignore the question posed:

The link explains the rules Quentin about posting.Reminding people not to advertise and so-on so that the thread can remain.I hope that answers your question.

Well its an answer, though hardly relevant.

You start this thread by asking us to go the link you posted to be reminded what the thread is intended for (suggesting its some sort of continuation or something), when we do click the link we end up at the 2 page thread of site rules!

Then you go on in pseudo official language about what "shall be used for".

Then ask that posters answer questions like "do you want to be full time/part time, how many hours do you want to work, do you know the products, etc etc".

Whatever the answer to these questions it seems your nm company would fit the bill - as they seem keen to take any form of rep on, and will fit in to any of their aspirations!

As I said, no wonder it gets greeted with scepticism!

Quentin, i do see your point. Any person can fit into any company whom wants to earn more money, that is what its all about. But like i said i do not want to promote myself here.

Network Marketing is a new concept to many and very confusing to others so lets please debate about the point in question.

    Hi folks

Just to clear it up - as the previous thread had been removed I suggested that a new thread was started if people wanted to continue discussions. I also asked that the first post contained a link to the advertising rules of this site.

    Thank you.

We are left to wonder why Choc chose not to tell us that! (Though we see he has now radically edited the op to not now be so officous and misleading!)
