  • I nearly went shopping the other day to spend another ridiculous amount at Mr T's . I decided to go through my freezer and list everything I had.

I sat there the other night and decided to meal plan.

I have enough food to last me until 12th October

    Tonight -Fish fingers and chips
Friday - Pizza and garlic bread
    Saturday - Spagetti bolognese
    Sunday - Roast pork
Monday Suprise dishes (individual portions of food I'd frozen from previous meals) everyone will be having something different:D
Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
    Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j
Aim to be credit card free by December 2012... Mostly done

Oh dear!! My OH never looks in freezer :o

Ok Other hiding places for me are: my baking cupboard (behind the flour etc), in the wok in the cupboard (he never uses that and it's big enough to hide biscuits in), inside the large saucepans in the cupboard, in the microwave (but he sometimes looks there so it's only safe for a short time), and finally:-

in the bottom of my wardrobe (he has a separate wardrobe)
    in my desk at work!!!

Can you hide them in the freezer in a non clear box marked "lentil stew" or something less likely to be opened? ;)

I think those cherry cakes would be safe from my OH though coz he doesn't really like cherries much - I love cherries so will be making them :D

Thanks for these suggestions. :rotfl: If he spotted 'lentil stew' he would probably ask when I made it... i'm a rubbish liar - before I even said anything he would probably guess what the was going on!! He always guesses what I am thinking don't know how he does it!!

I have the odd bought treat at work but that's not very old-style- I can't cook anything myself in the kitchen as then he would know it existed and have to eat it!

thanks for quiche recipe PenelopePenguin, can I check do you use the stalks and leaves of the chard or just the leaves?

Guess it keeps me healthy too!

I usually cook while I'm making dinner (OH hardly ever comes in then as he hates to see mess) - if he sees cakes - I show enough for us to have one or two bits each and then the rest is hidden :p
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
