Help me decide N95 vs N95 8gb..

My 3 contract is up soon.
I want the N95 but it doesn't look (from the retentions thread) that 3 are going to offer this on a renewal.
Perchance they offer the old N95 would this be a total bum deal??
I like my "tecchy toys" and TBH 3 are probably the cheapest for what I need (though will have to go to 500 M+M due to new billing stuff..). I love internet on my mobile! I do resent the "video pack " charge for stuff I'll never need though, and as DH is likely to leave 3 the 3-3 mins aren't much use either!
Hmmmm feeling a bit fed up really as I was looking forward to a night new contract phone at a good rate and it aain't going to happem I guess:o

Just get it from another network and port your number, just make sure 100% that you can get the best coverage on the new network - ideally from a friend on that network, not the online coverage checkers .... they don't take in to account the massive black spot at my house for Three ....0

Great phone by the way, just get the 8GB version as it's not buggy and the battery is tons better.0

If you are not worry about memory then n95 is good stuff to be tested.0

I am in the same position. At the moment I am on the VTT 300 package from 3 this gives me
300 mins
150 Txt
25 min Video Call
£5 downloads.
I get this for £8 a month and it seems mad to lose this package.
I have been offered the N95 for £45 or the N95 8Gb for £145.
I checked in the shop the other day and the 3 guy assured me that the latest software fixes have addressed the bugs. I have had a hunt on the interent and no one seems to confirm or deny this.
I also found info on the web that you can put an 8Gb HDsd card in and it works (there are reports of 16Gb working as well) an 8Gb card only costs max £30.
If the N95 normal lives up to pretty much the same as the 8Gb then maybe a card for the £30 is the way to go.
Can anyone confirm or deny the above.
Many thanks0 -
This is a nice list of the differences, apart from the obvious storage memory: http://www.n95-8gb.com/nokia-n95-8gb-vs-n95.html0

The N95 is full of bugs, crashes all the time, GPS barely works.
The N95-8gb is a million times better.0 -
THanks guys- 8GB it needs to be I think, though now leaning towards N96!0

I have a n95, it's a workable phone, the last firmware fixed most of the problems but the GPS is horrid, it barely works, ever, takes for ever to get a signal and you have to pay for the turn by turn on a yearly basis.
I tried hard to like the phone, the camera is good and the speakers are great... but overall I was disappointed. Get something else.0 -
have you ever considered a N82?
Downside of N82 against N95 is the screen is a little smaller and no Infrared.
However the N82 has better flash for the camera and better GPS and no moving parts.
Those are the main differences, the rest is pretty much the same0 -
If the N96 tempts you, maybe consider waiting for the N85? Very similar feature set but not as wide and slimmer, an OLED display and notably longer battery life."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"
