hello ladies
quick question for SL's out there...can i sign up my other half?...he lives at his mum and dads but wants to deliver near my house (as thats where he spends most of his time ) or would he have to do an area near his mum and dads house?

I have signed my other half up so yes you can. And a rep of mine wanted teritorry nearer her mums as thats where she spends most her time and after speaking to my ASM that wasnt a problem! x

does your OH live with you or somewhere else?...sorry to be nosey ...if OH lives with you how does that work do the have their own territory?..as he is eventually gonna move in with me miught wait till then

had 2 of the girls i was going to sign up say that they dont want to do it (one is a close friend and truthfully shes just lazy lol, the other girl cant get a territory near her but feels she doesnt have enough F+F who would order ..so feeling a little bit disheartned by it not sure whether its worth the hassle...is there any cards or leaflets that avon do that you can by asking if peeps wanna sign up that can be stuck through post boxes etc?

Yeah my other half lives with me and we have teritorry very close to each other. Works well though! You will get disheartened I have lost 3 reps this campaign because they couldnt be bothered and had convinced themselves this was easy money no matter how many times I had tried to explain you need to put in a lot of hard work and effort!
I think Avon do although I havent ordered any but my SL has given me a load! I also went door knocking with her! What an experience although very nerve racking didnt pay off that time but have heard good things about recruiting that way from other SL's!

i think the door knowcking would be scary lol...i might jsut make some flyers up and bung them through the letterbox lol.
ive only just started after a break...im not sure about how to go self emplyed etc as i dont ahve a job i am at the minute on benefits...not sure how it effects things or even the first thing about going self employed.
any idea?....even just the self employed bit.
i might email my asm about my boyf becoming a rep

thing is i havent even signed up my first rep that was supposed to be today and she let me down

I emailed Avon this morning re problems with invoice, one thing incorrectly charged and 3 things ordered but not showing on invoice.

I ordered In Bloom EDT + Free shower gel & body lotion, one set from C17 and one from HT. They've invoiced the brochure ones but not HT ones.

They just called and they've sent out immediate replacements and used code 54, "ordered and charged but missing from box".

They were infact ordered but NOT charged so does this mean I won't get charged for them now? bonus if so

You can sign up whoever you like! Most people do sign their oh up - oh was the first person I signed up so that we could get some territory! You can get reps territory that isn't local to them - but it does need to come under the same area manager. I would check who the manager is for your OH area - if it is the same manager as your area then you should be able to get territory local to your house no problem (providing theres some free of course!0.

Its really easy to register as self employed - if you ring the phone number (its on some of the avon paperwork, in the business pack, or it will be online) - they are really helpful. Just make sure you have your national insurance number handy! I have no idea how it will affect your benefits though, but I'm sure they will talk it through with you, they were really helpful when I rang to register.

Yes avon do various leaflets and things - though to be honest I use my own. I also do a lot of "expired brochure drops" with a little leaflet stapled to the front, its a good way of getting rid of all your expired brochures! Building a team is a very slow process unfortunately, I started sl in C10 - I have only just managed to get to 7 reps lol! Have signed people, then them not place an order, one go to debt, people not be in for appointments etc etc - if you enjoy it and want it for the long term benefits then stick with it! Are you registered on flissys? Its a really good website for SL, you can buy leads on there (details of people who are interested in joining) and there are loads of other SL on there so any questions you have are answered really quickly, and generally there is just a lot of support. Some people on there have been sl for ages, and they know how much hard work it can be, really helps me to keep plodding along!
