my first drop I clled to collect when i said I would ,if not book left I kocked if not reply left an " I called to collect your avon book , i will call again tomorrow if you don't wish top be disturbed please leave it outside"
the next day Happened to be a saturday so most either left it outside or responded when I knocked .
this time my recall will be tomorrow and friday so i am aiming to do it after 6 so there is more chance of finding them at home .I am journeying to a debt-free life.

How many times do you go to a house before you right a book off? I delivered my books on Sat morn and collected Mon, 5 people were not in & had not left them out so I put a "I called for your brochure please leave it out tomorrow" leaflet through their doors, went back last night got one more brochure back. So how many times do you call for a book before you give up and would you give these houses the next campaign brochure if they obviously cannot be bothered?
Thankyou
Hi Ivy,
I always 2 call back slips. If I don't get it back after that then I leave it. It's not worth the hard work. Most people would have probably thrown them away if you don't get it back after 2 slips.C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -

Oooh good question! I have assumed that they don't and ordered bags. Otherwise how would they know how many bags to send you as they don't know how many orders you have?
I've had to spend quite a bit of my profit this time ordering brochures, bags and more order forms. The bags and order forms are very reasonable though (the first 2 packs of order forms are free) and they should last me for another couple of campaigns at least!!
I am calling it "Investing In The Future". Or something like that.
£110 for C18 so far and 2 more books to pick up tonight together with one more order from work so hoping to hit £150 at least. :j0 -

yeh i really liked my sl i was worried i might get someone who was kind of "avon obsessed and toe the party line etc) but they were all about how to make the most profit and i think it helped that i told them i had already rang around a few places to ask if they would like a brochure- they seemed impressed by that. fingers crossed i get some orders!0

I had 60 books for my first campaign which was fab , could cover most of my territory in once drop whcihwas great as I only had a week .
I have just collected fromthe first drop on my new territory , one £10 order and 3 different people telling me that they already have an avon lady ( or 2) and one who's daughter is an avon lady so think I can safely say that area is covered LOL - they were really good at returning the books though
going to drop the other end of the road though becuase its a long road and you never know those reps covering the top end might not bother to do the bottom .
Dropped a book into my hairdresser this morning who has a saloon at home , told her anything her customers order she can have 10% to spend on anyhting she wants . hope it worksI am journeying to a debt-free life.

Yes I started on C18 and got 40 for C18 and 40 for C1 - I'm sure our SL/ASM is only reimbursed for 20 for each campaign so we have done very well! Still dropping C18 to my territory so I can back order of it on C1.
Almost finished my order for C18 - should be about £150 by the time I've finished. It's been OK - bit stressed out and not liking the dark nights, but as I work 9-5 and have busy weekends its difficult to fit it all in! My first orders don't appear to be very "Christmas present" based - I was worried I'd get loads of orders for the first one and then none as everybody was just ordering for Christmas, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Hope your C1 goes well!0 -
