I have to say I may moan about avon sometimes - but I'm so glad I do it, as otherwise I have no idea how we would afford presents this year! We've managed to get some quite good bits either from creative ordering or just generally with our discount making them cheap

Yes, got to admit, I moan too..... but recently started doing Betterware too (thought the two may dovetail.... wrong! Have, however, got a few new Avon customers through doing Betterware as it seems that there is a certain 'type' of person, who does like to shop from home) Don't see myself doing Betterware for long but the upside is that it makes me 'appreciate' Avon more! :rotfl:

    PS: Love creative ordering!

  • hello all
not having such a good campaign only have $88 (sorry no piound sign ) so far :(

if anyone read my message about the girl delivering wrongly to my territory...i had words with my ASM (who is lovely and so helpful) and she had words with her sales leader...the girl said it was all amicable and that i told her she can canvass on the street..which is very true but it was heaving it down with rain..i really diodnt want to be standing in the street talking about it..plus it was only when i gothome and actually thought about what was doen and said that it started to bug me...plus finding out that the girl had emailed my ASM and asked if that street was available and being told no but still canvassing there anyway really got my goat up :(

any ways i have been given a new street which apparently had much more potential anyways plus its closer to me :)
im also signing up for sales leader weds and have already 3 reps lined up which is great..i am actually finding signing new reops easier than selling lol.
im quite excited about it now :)

One of my reps is on her 2nd campaign and put in an additional order instead of back ordering and they held her normal campaign order and her additional order. She didn't realise, I was checking her account and found it had been held. I called on Friday but Credit Control weren't answering the phone, may have finished early, and so I emailed to find out what was happening.

Phoned again today and found out her orders were being released but they wouldn't merge the two orders so she could get the additional discount due to the orders being released.

oh by the way, none of the party tips are mine. I copied them from Flissy's site and the Avon training for SL's.

But happy to share the info if it helps.
  • in brochure 17 pg 118 there is a bubble bath 27474 £2.40 is it the same as in the HT campaign 1 pg23 for £1.05.

I am not an Avon Lady but I have yet to find a person who has successfully been an agent for two different companies at the same time. In my experience, I found it is better to focus on one company, keep selling but recruit and train - that is where the money is!! It is always said that you need to recruit c20 people to find a 'diamond' (a person who will repeat what you are doing selling and recruiting) but they are out there to be found.

Hope it goes well for you all.
    Regards

yes it is. :D This is called canny ordering. But you need to check if you make more of a profit this way than through normal ordering. Compare the two to see which is better for you.
  • ooh quick question guys :P

when ordering from ht (demo items), can they be returned in ususal way??

  • Scaramatic - if you are showing customers the HT brochure, and have sold items to customers for the price shown in the HT brochure, you will not make any commission on these items. HT is for reps, and the prices shown are the amount you have to pay over to Avon

The bubble bath question you asked, in the brochure it is £2.40, so if you get 25% commission, you would have to pay Avon £1.80. If the bubble bath in HT is the same size for £1.05, you will make more commission if you sell to the customer from the brochure, but order from HT. Be careful if the item in Ht is a demo item, as you can usually only order 1 per campaign
