Re books: My delivery comes from Avon on a monday. I deliver orders and books to customers (both those who have ordered and those who haven't) on the tuesday. Most of my regulars are on current book but a few are on the older one. I then return to pick up the books on the following monday.
Sounds a long time but gives them a chance to read the book, pass it round the family at weekends, take to their mums later that week. Cos I've tried to keep to those days, 99% of my ladies leave them on the doorstep for me. Got them well trained!!
On the downside, I have a road I really need to recanvass. Its a country road so no path. And I have DD in a pushchair which makes it a bit tricky. I would do it after DH gets home from work but really prefer to canvass during the daytime - less chance of bumping into the homeowner (I'm a shove into the letterbox and run sort of rep!!).Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

The official line is that the average order per customer is £12 (although I find that mine is often a little more), and I get orders from around 20% of my houses (those i actually drop a brochure to) each time. It may take you a little time till people get used to you though - they may have had problems with unreliable reps in the past and want to see if you will stick around.
I average around £350 from 120 houses at this time of year, but i've been doing it for 2 years, so have built up a customer base.
The bottom line is keep plugging away and don't give up if it's slow at the start'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

I did Ann Summers for about 6 years and was a Unit Organiser for most of it so I totally feel your pain with cancellations etc. How many parties a week do you do?
My suggestion would be maybe start up the avon and run it alongside to see how you get on. Personally, I do think there's more money to be had from the parties but it is so much more inconvenient and time consuming! With Avon, you can fit it around you and it doesn't take too long really... as with any sales job the more you put in the more you get out, so if you were to devote a day canvassing the area for new business you'd be more likely to make money than just sticking to your territory.
You could even put an Avon book in with your Ann Summers orders!
Hi Louise,
I normally have every Friday and Saturdays booked out in my six week line up but msot of them have been cancelling on me the week leading up to their party...
Still unsure what to doDebt free 2018

I think you have been given the old targets. They changed recently so you now only have to get £78 each campaign for the level 1, and £148 for level 20
