Oh there was a reason for me logging on here!! A customer ordered (From C13 I think) the Christian Lacroix Noir for men with the free gift and they had said they wanted the after shave conditioner but now they say they want the shower gel. Does anyone have the code for the shower gel so I can order the replacement online?0

Yeah, she does spend a lot on most camps, just a bit peeved that she think I would try and rip her off. Am sure she didn't mean it like that tho!
I have just noticed your C14 order total FANTASTIC!!!0 -

Thanks! It will be delivered Friday - bet its gonna take all weekend to sort!
Managed to be more organised this camp, just hope I can catch everyone in to deliver it all! Hate it when I've still got a boot full of orders the week after delivering!
Hope I can reach this over xmas!Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -
i always tend to refund people the cash if they return something, ask them if they have their copy of the order form to check the price and amend it and then give them the cash there and then out my own purse if neccessary! Then make a note of it when i get home on my copy of the form. that way they have their money back and hopefully cant say ive fiddled them in anyway!
I too have a customer who orders £20+ most campaigns but returns LOADS... usually make up after using it just a tiny bit so i cant even sell it on! urgh! Is annoying!
On a sorta avon subject........ i found out yesterday i got a part time job id applied for so i can finally come off income support which means i get to keep ALL my avon commission from now on....... YAY!!!! Just intime for xmas sales!!!0 -
^^^^^^^ what she said

*JEALOUS* :rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks Johanne!
Well done on the job front! Will be much better for you now being able to keep all your earnings!
Its my birthday this month so i'm gonna treat myself with mine!
Going back to the refund thing - I ask them what they would prefer - Find it usually encourages them to spend more if they have a credit!Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -
Well territory problem was sorted out, turns out that the AM had forgotten she'd given me a patch.... Anyway so far have 3 orders for £55 plus another to come at about £40 so I have definately reached MOV. Plus, when I went to bank I asked the bank clerk if anyone dropped an Avon book in... picking it up on Monday, she def wanted some things, just hope the rest of the staff do too. :T Have got my next 30 houses to canvas tomorrow.
What is the average amount of books people order, I'm carrying about 5 around with me and have 30 out although 6 are now missing, have left notes, but am wondering if it would be better to just get more books in? What do you all think? The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

I took over a round from a lady that retired. Have to say anytime I ordered I just gave her the whole customer order form back. I then got a copy stapled to my order and assumed she kept the other incase anything was returned.
What should I be doing with them I have a few of her regulars who keep a copy so that they know what and how much their order will be.
First order due on Friday for delivery next Wednesday. Not looking forward to sorting it all out as I need it all out and away with next brochure order in within a week as I away on holiday!!!!
Also were can I get cellophane gift bags to make up bags of goodies . I have a McMillan cofee morning next week also playgroup ladies night and a xmas fete coming up that I want to make up bags for.I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0 -
Some of my customers keep the bottom copy (theirs) and some give the whole order form back. I usually staple the top copy to the bag. I either photocopy or write their order on another form to keep for my records. That way if they send returns and dont have the paperwork, I dont need to rely on Avon to find the original sale. Also means I can see the price straight away and if its on any multi buy deals or free gifts with it. This also gives me a comprehensive list on who has ordered what type of product, how frequently they order and how much they've spent.
I also have a returns freak customer. Just sent back 4 pairs of pjs, none suitable. Has been known to open and test multiple lippies so they have to go back as well. But she is a good customer so am happy to do that for her.
Have never tried Avon at boot sales but do sell my surplus (freebies from promos or stuff I thought I wanted!) on ebay from time to time if I dont want to keep them as Christmas prezzies for my customers. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
