RANT ALERT !!!!!!!
Those "stupid Antler Galm Boxes", My customers ordered 4 and they are so big and bulky. Even the large Avon plastic bags are not big enough.
My husband had the car yesterday so I had to put them in my sons buggy. (DS was out with DH).Then 2 of them weren't in :eek:when they said they were going to be the day before.
So now I have to go back later with my son in the buggy and somehow have to carry the stupid Glam boxes and all the suncream and shower gel that everyone has ordered this time.
RANT OVER pheww.

Hi,
I've been lurking on here for a while. I've not read all the thread but i'll be doing the rest later!
Just a quick question, i received the rep bag this morning and i have read in previous posts that you get some goodies in it. I however have not recieved anything just the bag. Is this what happens now?
I'm up to April (past posts) and some people said they got paper bags samples and a bottle of perfume?
Thanks

hi hevab, welcome to the thread.
It's great, full of lots of information and helpful advice and friendly msers.
I got the rep bag, the £10 one, but it does not come with anything, this is for you to carry around with you when you are doing your Avon deliveries, knocking on doors, etc.
I think you are thinking of the other Avon rep bag, which does come with freebies, but costs more. Trying to think of it, but mind going blank.
Sure someone more experienced will be along soon and able to answer your question.0 -

Hi and welcome!
The one with samples, etc was an offer for new reps, I got it myself in my first campaign, it was £10 (spread over two camps) and had the bag, samples, some paper bags and a full sized U by Ungaro perfume. But this is only for new reps I understand. hthLBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

The reps bag used to come with samples, paper bags, a full sized perfume and a lipgloss.....unfortunately now it doesn't!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been told by other Sales Leaders of this, although Avon hasn't confirmed it, but being as reps are receiving without all the lovely extras then it must be true - I think now all you will get is the bag, some paper bags & a few samples.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Oh what a shame!
I did get a few samples but that was for the internet incentive.
I'm loving doing Avon i'm now on my third campaign...gone so quickly!
Just want to say thanks to all the hints i've gotten from reading this :T
Thanks for the swift reply also!

I got the bag last campaign, came with paper bags and a few samples, mostly rubbish ones 2bh, few perfume ones tho. Was pretty disappointed when I opened the box of bits (which happened to ruin the point of the weird new box lid design thing because it wouldn't fit through the gap) If u really want a bag then its probably worth it but if its mostly for the extras its rubbish, I think i would rather of got the £15 bag on its own. Loving the 24things for £30 offer in HT though, especially since my sisters GF has ordered 4 of the products in it that come to £20, i'm pretty sure i can make more than a tenner out of the other 200

Well - if you take into account you have four - £35.11 divided by 4 would be £8.78 per cream. So selling at £15 would make you £6.22 per cream. But this is assuming that you sell all four of them - if you don't think that you will then I'd say send them back. I personally don't bother with the moneymakers as I know I won't sell a large amount of one expensive item! If you bought from the books at £15 you'd earn £3.75 per cream (if you hit HOV) - just depends on your customers!
to confuse matters even more i just checked the online invoice ( was gonna put in for credits)and it says i would make £4.50 on a £14 jar but would that be only if i sold all 3?????0 -
Hi I wonder if anyone can help, i signd up to start doing avon a week ago, and was given my area on thursday, o i went out on thursday evening and started knocking on doors.... first lady was lovely and couldnt take it off my hands quick enough, and then it all went down hill! i only managed to hand out 2 books to people who wanted it, and everyone one else in my area.. just not interested. i knew it wouldnt be easy but didnt think it would be this hard! i have also given a book to my mom and sister (cant do work as a lady already does it) and emailed local companies but they havent come back to me. i emailed my manager and she said the area that i have been given is the only area left locally and ill have to wait to get some more area.... i have been and colected my 2 books back in tonight, one lady didnt want anything this month, but said deffo bring another one back ( i think she was testing me to see if i was reliable, which i dont mind) and the other lady ordered something yay! it was only £8, but thats £8 more than i had last week. i have about £25 to order and my mom and sister will order something and hopefully people from my sisters work, but what else can i do about my area? i have one road left (not very big) which im considering just putting books through the doors and nt bothering to ring the bel, then collect and see if i get any orders? what do you think? does it work on the first book just putting it through doors without introducing yourself? any help is appreciated x0
