The 64.61 is what you have earned. But then below that it says what you have spent on brochures, bags, HT stuff etc.0

this is off my invoice, so basically the 64 .61 is the money ive saved on order?
If you look at the first page of your invoice it gives you a rundown of your current order, then any credits or re-charges, then under 'Your Avon Account' it details any payments or returns and at the bottom says 'Please pay Avon' X amount. That figure should be quite a bit less than you've collected from your customers - do you keep a separate purse for the money you've collected? I find that helps to keep track of it, and also a simple printed spreadsheet where you can cross off what you've delivered.'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

I pay all the cash (and cheques from family and close friends) into my savings account the day after the deliveries.
The week before the order is due I go to the post office with the correct cash (withdrawn from the savings account) to pay the invoice (plus the 50p admin fee).
I also pay for my personal stuff from HT and the brochures into this account.
The money "left over" is my commission and it is saved for holidays/Christmas. Usually this is £50-70 but it can be as high a £150.

what a great idea Vicky. I will do this too, that way you earn a little interest on what you make too.
I love this thread. You are all so friendly and full of great ideas.0 -
I actually opened a basic bank account with Co-Op that I use purely for Avon so when it comes to self-assessment time, I can use the bank statements. The a/c comes with an electron card that I can pay Avon online with.:jAvon Rep since C18 2008 (Sales Leader since C7 2009) and Usborne Rep since March 2008:j0

Last night I delivered books to a newish street of mine ( this is the second time I have been ) and as I was walking up one drive with a book a man came to the window and started shooing me away saying they didn't want one. How rude! I wouldn't mind but they had the choice to tick the box last time to say they didn't want a book and they didn't:mad:
I will say one thing about this job you have to toughen up and learn not to take things personally. So:p to the rude man:D0 -

I put a brochure through one of the ground floor flats and as I went up the stairs to do the upper ones, I heard the door open and the brochure flung out onto the floor. This person also had a 'tick box' which they didn't bother with, so would it really have been so difficult to open the door, wait for me to come down, and politely say that they didn't want any more books. I did call out 'thank you' very loudly - some of us have manners

His relative lives round the corner from me too! As I put the book through the door, it was pushed back out!! How sad is that sitting behind your letterbox pushing things back?! You do have to be a bit thick-skinned to do Avon because there are quite a few rude people but luckily there are also lots of nice ones too! It's such a nice day today think I might put out some more cats on the way to pick-up from school!0
