Your own forum? Tell us more.
It's just something I've created becauseI'm expecting a lot of my reps to be out of area and I wanted a central reference point rather than repeating myself all the time lol. All Avon folk welcome to come and talk shop over there once you've registered :)https://www.lauries-avon.co.uk/forum

    what a great idea. :T

Thanks! :D I love working it to get things cheaper lol! Definately worth knowing what offers are in the books as it makes it easier to know what/if you can creative order :D

I spotted a necklace that I absolutely love in the new HT, the wings of love I think it is called, mentioned it to OH who was a bit like hmmmm, but when he saw it he said yes :D First bit of Avon jewellery I've had, most of it is nice, but not what I normally wear - but this is piece is totally me :D

1st batch of C9 dropped today, only to a few houses as my printer decided to run out of in while printing off some collection slip thingies. Wouldn't have minded but spent an hour and a half trying to set the thing up as I am sooooo technically inept that I couldn't figure out where the mains cable plugged in :rotfl:

Getting ink first thing in morning so can get cracking on a few more houses :D

Was thinking ahead and does anyone do any kind of recommendation list/newsletter for each new campaign? Was thinking of something along the lines of new highlights in the catalogue/offers not to be missed etc?

    Well done :D

I did do a newsletter for a couple of campaigns but decided to stop as it was a lot of ink/paper and a lot came back without ever being read. No-one has commented since I stopped.

That's exactly what I do! :D I have a notebook that I jot down the best offers in, and then we type it up onto the computer whittling the list down to the very best offers/the ones we know will be popular (once you know what your customers like to order in general then it will be easier).

So for C9 I have mentioned the following offers I think
    the watch offer
    3 for £5 on colourtrend
    new 99p shop
    father's day stuff
    3 for £5 on footworks
free am/pm cleanser when buying face cream
the face/hand/body lotions that are on offer

Obviously I pad it out a bit, with words like fantastic etc lol, and mention the relevant page numbers. No idea whether people actually read them or not mind you, but I think for some people it will draw their attention to the offers especially if they are short on time, and I also have my contact details on there as well, and the approximate date I will be delivering orders. So it is useful I find anyway. We print 2 to an A4 page, and then each note covers the back cover of the book nicely. Mind you, we do have a laser printer so it doesn't cost very much to print them! hth

Me & OH always have the week off between order deadline & delivery so are normally in a bit of a rush, but it's nice not wandering about the streets every week!:D

Don't overfill the pages, it's better to just have a few of the very best offers that might be easily missed to make it more visible if people just glance at it. I've sold a lot of footworks stuff so have made sure I mention that offer, but never bother mentioning the perfume offers as nobody particularly buys them - but obviously your customers will prefer different items.

You could always maybe print one off and then photocopy it if that would work out cheaper? I know OH buys our ink cartridges off the internet and they work out really cheap, but not sure which site he uses! We are definately making sure we save all receipts for ink cartridges/paper etc for tax returns!

My paper is FOC, my dad is a printer so it comes in handy, he brings round reams for DS to draw on so never short of paper! Will have to look into cartridges on the internet - must be cheaper than tescos lol Will save all receipts for any that I buy tho, have to get into that habit :)

echo - I certainly did laugh after that. However I also thought she could have just ticked the box and left it on her doorstep. Some people don't bother reading at all, surely it's simpler to tick a box!

She probably doesn't understand arrows in car parks either :rotfl:
