If you make an order up to your credit limit, submit it straight away, then get the deliveries made and the money banked as quickly as possible. Then place a second 'regular' order for the rest and submit that. Avon'll send your SL or ASM an email saying you've placed two regular orders in the campaign, but as you're new and it's the first time you've done it, they'll not charge for the delivery.
I signed OH up as one of my 5 to become SL and planned to use him as 'overspill' for my orders as my second campaign credit limit was £300. But even with his £200 limit I'm way over. I'm on my second campaign and I had to stop canvassing with 100 houses left to do. My friends did slightly too good a job at drumming up orders for me, (although I've still not convinced any of them to sign up themselves ).
Well that sounds like a good idea, and as I have about 9 days to go till my deadline I would love to do that but I still haven't received my account number! I joined 12 days ago and still don't have it, I have chased my sl about it and even sent an email to avon. I'm worried because I have terrible credit, including a ccj and now I am worried that I won't be allowed an account with them! The thing is, I received a welcome email from avon to say hello and thanks for becoming a rep, click this link to register online to start ordering, so surely they wouldn't send me a welcome email if I hadn't passed the credit check, but I don't know! I am growing more and more concerned. Do they work on sundays, not sure if I can ring or what the number is to check on my account info?

If you've had your welcome email from Avon you're in already. To be honest, unless you've ripped Avon off in the past it's very rare to get turned down, although they may give a smaller credit limit or ask for a deposit occasionally. Most of the time they credit 'score' based on your postcode, age etc, and very rarely do they actually credit 'check' with the credit reference agencies.
2 weeks seems a long time to get your account number to me, though. Call customer services on the phone tomorrow, or your SL or ASM should be able to give it to you straight away.
bunneycat, sorry, I don't have any. And I never get clearance items, being on mail plan O, i don't even bother trying!0 -

I saw your posts at Flissy's Kat and Rachel
Kat, let me know how you get on. I haven't done it myself, but some of the more senior ladies at Flissy's suggested it to me
Rachel, it's awful when people do that... I had the same happen to me last week, my ASM sorted it in a wink, bless her, even though she was on a week off. It is part of your rep agreement that you won't go into other people's territories, so it should really be dealt with more strictly than most ASMs do. I would say, go through your ASM if possible so that things don't get nasty between you and this other girl.
Also ask for some extra territory to tide you over while you build you customer base up.
Don't quit! If nothing else, don't give that little toad the satisfaction of driving you off your patch.0 -
Off to collect the last of my books for this order in a minute ... only £1.90 away from minumum order so fingers crossed! Then I'm going to start handing out C14 on my other street so the street I've already done can have C15 later in the week.Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

thanks silvercharming im not as angry as i was when i posted on flissys but i am still really mad. i just canb't beleive that someone would deliberatley do it i have 4 days to get a huge order now. im sure i will manage it as soon as my asm comes back of her holiday tommorow. time for some extreme selling methinks. your right about quitting i dont think giving her the satisfaction would be the right thing to do but i do think i might just be on a small recruting mission when i drop my daughter off at school in the morning i just printed off 200 flyers for the nursery and my daughters class teacher to hand out lol:rolleyes:september:£22 jackpotjoy,screensaver,£50 thomas cook voucher0

No orders from the books I collected tonight
The last house I went to said she'd email me her order before I place the order tomorrow though
3 more people weren't home plus the 3 who weren't in Friday still weren't home so have lost 6 books plus the woman emailing me has kept one.Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
I'm not happy!!! So I was given this advice by several different people and it didn't work! I placed an order, I rang them this morning to ask them to release it early, and they won't. They said they have set delivery times for a reason and they cannot guarantee there will be a delivery van in the area! I am very upset now as it is my first campaign and I have already screwed it up, and I haven't placed all my customer orders yet. I don't know what to do?!
I am confused though, I thought you could pay £2.50 delivery to put in additional orders, I am sure I have read that some of you place several orders each campaign, but how can that be? How can we put in additional orders if they won't deliver them except for that one date?!My darling boy born December 20110
