Oooh nice new thread, great to have all the tips in 1 place!!
My orders for my first campaign are around the £200 mark now so very happy!! Still got a week or so to go and a couple of streets to canvass yet!!
I just wanted to warn you that if this is your first campaign you are likely to have a credit limit of around £200, although you may be able to check by ringing up credit control. If you go over that, they will not release your goods until you have paid the difference, so if you end up getting £300 of orders you will have to pay £100 up front from your own pocket.
Personally I am going to stop before I reach £200 as I don't want to risk any delays, plus I have no money to pay the difference.

Actually, there is one way to get around the credit limit, but it is a little sneaky and only works if you are at least a week away from your regular order date...
If you make an order up to your credit limit, submit it straight away, then get the deliveries made and the money banked as quickly as possible. Then place a second 'regular' order for the rest and submit that. Avon'll send your SL or ASM an email saying you've placed two regular orders in the campaign, but as you're new and it's the first time you've done it, they'll not charge for the delivery.
I signed OH up as one of my 5 to become SL and planned to use him as 'overspill' for my orders as my second campaign credit limit was £300. But even with his £200 limit I'm way over. I'm on my second campaign and I had to stop canvassing with 100 houses left to do. My friends did slightly too good a job at drumming up orders for me, (although I've still not convinced any of them to sign up themselves ).0 -
Now want to place my order online tonight and Arrrgh I cant log into my Avon Account keep getting error 3 come up, correct account number and password, its driving me mad, does anyone know if the site is down?????0

bunney its fixed now, i was having the same problem hun
im off top collect my books this afternoon and if i am quick enough/the people are in and give me my books back in time i can squeeze one more street in before i have to order i hope so because the orders this campaign have been rubbish people buy more of my baskets than they do out of the book:rolleyes:september:£22 jackpotjoy,screensaver,£50 thomas cook voucher0 -

Sorry, Mel, I didn't see your question. I normally say call, or email. If the hairdresser's is happy for forms to be left there I do that too - if that happens I give 10% commission to spend in the catalogue. They can only have it as cash if they are donating it to a charity. Of the ones I've left, though, everyone has called or emailed. Pubs are a good place to leave books in this way, too. The barmaids always end up showing the book to regulars.0

a bit of both to be honest, i do the avon baskets (get a wicker basket add tissue paper, add poroducts then celophane over it and you have an instant gift) and i do things like baby baskets with knitted cardigans and booties in the same way as the avon ones:rolleyes:september:£22 jackpotjoy,screensaver,£50 thomas cook voucher0 -

Good point thanks for the reminder!! I've got my ASM coming to see me on Tuesday so I'll ask her about it and see if I can find out what the limit is and what my options are.0 -

Thanks! I get my C15 books this week so I'll pop some in some local places and see how it works out. The landlady of my local pub does Avon herself but I'm sure I can find some other pubs to try out!Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0
