  • Karen - Do you think if I just stuck to the linen sprays then for the people that have ordered over £20, is that an okay freebie? Are the linen sprays £4.00rrp?

linensprays are £3.50 i think....just order things when they are on offer..from the brochure or the ht....my customers always get a freebie if order is over £20 but i dont spend more than £1.50 on freebies.

showergels, bodylotion, bodysprays, nailvarnish, handcream, facemasks anything really but only when its on offer...you dont wanna end up spending your commissin on freebies
  • I always put my first name on my order forms where it has rep details. I have so far not had any problems with having customers fill out their details in the correct place:confused:

I have no idea what the old forms looked like, then again maybe my customers don't either, no idea how long they haven't had a rep!

Interested to see I'm not the only one who has had problems with people leaving their name off the form since the order forms changed . Can I suggest that we all email Avon to that effect, and hopefully if they get enough complaints, they'll change back to the old style with the customer name at the top. Meantime, I'm putting a little cross beside the name section in the hope of drawing attention.

Glad your other problem sorted itself out - people are quite amenable on the whole, i find.

Isn't the first time it has happened, happened with the old style forms but that was on my very first time so I guess people weren't sure what to do then. I've even put stickers on the top of all the forms saying please remember to complete your address and include a phone number/email address.

    Obviously makes no difference lol!
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A
  • Thanks, think I will have a proper look at the linen sprays etc tonight.

My apologies they are £3.50 :o
but even then thats still about 17% of their order value
in my stock just now freebie wise I have
    4 linen sprays
    7 Body lotions
    8 shower gels
    6 hair products
    all from naturals collection
    and I have
5 items from the sense range
and also a few big bottles of bubble bath ( they were demo's )
view your offers on a monthly basis but like others have said sometimes you are cheaper with the 4 for £5 as then you get your commision on it too ;)
Life is what you make it;)

  • Yeah I did see a few deals like the 4 for £5, was there not an offer in C7 on the footworks products for ths?

    Footworks is 4 for £4 in C8 ;)
Senses liquid soap is a £1 aswell but with your comission it is only 80p or 75p if you hit the higher rate :T

  • Thanks Karen, maybe I should go with the footworks products then, I was wanting a couple of them for myself anyway, just bought new flip flops;)

I have hit my HOV, just wanting to hit the £250 now!!!

I have a new ASM that wants to talk about how I can increase my earnings. I am assuming she means becoming a Sales Leader? Once I have got my territory running like clockwork ( ha ha  ) I would like to know more about this but am a bit put off my some negative comments on another forum. Any one got any opinions ? Are there many SL on here?
I don't drive and have two little uns and am hoping I can earn enough not to return to work after mat leave. ( I only worked 10 hours ).

Right i am a sl so were should i start.....
I dont drive, have 2 kids (6yrs &1yr) got a partime job and still be able to grow my team and maintain my own customers....as a sl you build your team at your own pace obviously the more people you have in your team the more you can earn, initially it looks like you run around for some peanuts but as your team grows you will see the difference. your the one training and mentoring your reps and in return you will earn comission ofthere sales whenever they place an order .
all of my reps have my number and email but most of them are quiet independent and dont need me anymore.

regarding driving ..well i live in london so good public transport i assume it depends where u life and how easy it is to get from A - B
