I was thinking of trying this but wont bother now, has anyone tried the dry skin range?

I've got the dry skin one and love it. My skin is very dry and it feels great after using it. The PM one is really good.

It doesn't seem to be in up to book 7. There are all sorts of other weird and wonderful combinations, but not that one :D It's worth remembering that the SSS Dry Oil Body Spray (green) contains citronella oil so works as a repellant (well it repels me anyway:p )

I wonder what anyone else feels about forward ordering. I have done it a couple of times, but have some misgivings about the customer then looking at the book that comes with their order and finding they could have got the item cheaper, or even free. Back ordering is fair game, as the customer had the chance to order from the previous book, but the other way round seems a little underhand somehow

I'll probably do it once in a while, and if the customer notices then I can always say that I'd just taken their order at face value as there isn't time to check every order. I can't help but feel that the brownie points may be worth more than the small amount of money gained.

    Any thoughts..............?

  • Got my order today and finally recieved the age shampoo samples that have been out of stock for ages. My 8 packs charged at 10p each are actually 8 individual sachets. I'm sure it was for packs of 5 but can't find my HT from which i ordered them. Surely they should be sold in packs of 5 like most other samples? Has anyone ordered them? And did they arrive in packs?

I agree - although I have to admit if something is cheaper in the next book I'll order it at that price and charge them the price for the book they had - the way I look at it is that if you pointed out to them, yes they'd be pleased, BUT, you'd also have to explain why they have an old book in the first place! I doubt many people actually pay attention to the prices that closely - the body lotions, face & hand creams that were on offer in C5 - didn't get many orders for them even though they were really cheap, and yet those people who now have been given C6 books are ordering lots of them!!!! Doesn't make much sense but there you go!:rotfl: With family I always give them the cheapest price obviously!:D

I do feel a bit awkward giving someone the next book knowing the order they just got is cheaper in it.

BUT the way i look at it now is that can be the case on people who arent on the backordering book.....someone on the current book may order something that is cheaper in the next campaign but your not able to order from it yet.. so you cant feel guilty about that can you?

If anyone did question it couldnt you tell them you dont know until the books come with your delivery what is in them... they dont need to know you have them 2/3 weeks in advance! Its a little fib.. but it avoids them thinking your purposely doing them out of money... PLUS they were willing to pay that price in the first place, otherwise they wouldnt have ordered it!

Thanks, I've not seen it anywhere. They are still advertised as packs of 5 in HT8 and HT9. Oh well

My MIL had me on that one - I checked the price in the previous book for her, but not the newer book with not being able to order it from it yet, and she's "oh thats cheaper in this book!" though if I had checked and told her she probably wouldn't have wanted to wait in any case lol!

At least it isn't just me :D Though I've not found many things so far that are cheaper forward ordering, pretty much only when back-ordering.

    Well,

I am really not doing very well this time around. I have delivered about 50 cats and got them back and I have the grand total of £48 in orders!!! :(

I really wanted to get to £250 but really cannot see that happening. I have got 1 home to go back to tonight she said she hadn't looked yet. And I have got about 10 that were not in yesturday so got to go and call there. I am going to deliver another 30 cats tonight (on t1) but I have not got time to canvass all my 2nd territory. I have got aobut 30 houses left to do and at the moment only 10 cats I am away this weekend. I am going to come back sunday morning, so I am hoping to get some more cats out on my 2nd territpry tonight/tomrow, collect back thursday and out again thursday for collection on sunday. That will leave about 20 homes not done.

Anyone else having a pants time?
£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000
    Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,
    C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)
