Feel a bit deflated now. I managed to pick up 36 books from the 55 I dropped round so I have got to go back later to try and get the other 19.

Out of those 36, 5 people said they didn't want another book and 1 person placed an order of £4, so I am up to £52 now.

I know I have still got 60 houses to collect from over today and tomorrow but I thought I would have had more orders than that. I know that I have to persevere and I will but I just don't know what would start to get the orders in.

Great, come across another problem now. My one and only order from my territory ordered one of the sale bracelets and it is out of stock!

I don't want to come across as unreliable on my first campaign and I know what I would think if I ordered something and it wasn't in stock - I wouldn't bother again!!

She did order 2 items but I really wanted to make sure that she got both items. I have seen a selection of bracelets on Ebay that includes this one but it would cost me over £10 to get it (at the moment anyway, there are still 6 days left). I'm not sure if it's best just to say that they don't have the item in stock or try my best to fulfil the order so that I build up some reliability and trust within that road  .

I'm up to £64 now anyway (including the bracelet which I guess isn't going to count now even though it's still on the order) as I've ordered the coin sorter for my mum for mother's day.

    Hi Emily,

Dont get down. I am on my second camp and it does get better. I was a bit down as I had been allocated someone elses territory

But I am doing ok. got £194 in orders, with a little back/forward ordering I can make an extra few £s.

As everyone tells me it will get better. And this camp has gone better than the last (well apart from my territory issue). Where abouts are you based>

    Hi Guys
I am new here but been lurking for a few months now.

I have been an Avon rep for a couple of years but have a question.
I always submit my orders online and follow them in the order tracking but his time it says my order is "held". Never had this before. I know the website has changes somewhat over the past few monts but has anyone else had this before? It normally says either received or prepared.

Maybe it's just a error i wouldn't worry when is the order due by?
if it's late contact the call centre but they prob wont know why either
and will tell you to ring your aqrea sales manager or sales leader.

Have you sent any items back to avon and hve you had any credit's on your account? or have you not paid your last bill in on time?

Thank you Elle :A . I'm in Portsmouth, Hampshire. I know that I need to give it more time, I only signed up on Wednesday last week and only had time to do half my territory. I just really wanted to get to the HOV but I think that I will be lucky to get to MOV.

I've just found a post on a forum about items this lady had for sale and she had the bracelet on there for £2 so I have emailed her to find out if it's the right colour and if it's still available.

Yes that's the trick - when you then view the sub-total, you've actually been charged the lower price and the difference shows up in the 'items with no discount' section as something like 'please ignore, for Avon use only'.

Thank you so much - I submitted by order last night, and those showed up - hadn't got a clue what it meant! Does that mean I will make a little extra? As I submitted from the brochure prices?

Hope you manage to get the bracelet. I had one thing in my first campaign out of stock due to being in the sale, and again this time - both people were fine about it, though saying that they had ordered a couple of other items so it wasn't like they weren't going to receive nothing at all. It does get better with orders - I had loads more customers this time, even though I had given them a book in my first campaign also, I think some people just want to see that you aren't giving up straight away before they order!:p

    Well,

My new territoy didn't quite work out. Seeing as 1/2 of it is allocated to another rep. She rang me up quite angry yesturday and whilst I understand. It was not my fault. So instead of 90 houses I only have 40 now. Great.

Going to call ASM tonight and ask for more to replace what I have lost. Not sure that Is poss though. There are 6 reps in my villiage. Great.

hi ellejay, just wondered was it the rep that rang you?or your sl/asm???just that one rep might say its hers but it really is allocated to you?this happened to me was quite frustrating and made me angry too!

it was the rep. I am going to call my ASm tonight as she has got all the closes off the road its self. Even if she was not allocated them as she has been doing them for 18 months then I wont be allowed to do them as she has got regular customers.

Can you get into bother for having too many returns? I've had 3 orders I haven't been able to get out this campaign ... 2 from territory that I just can't get in touch with (have knocked several times, left a note etc) and one for a girl at work who has gone on long term sick and not replied to my message. There seems to be one or 2 orders every campaign at the moment that I just can't get out and I feel like I'm doing loads of returns! Just don't want to get into trouble for it :D
