Help needed please!!
Hi all. I just had a customer call me as one of the items she got (jewellery roll) is faulty. I have just been on the avon site and requested a replacement (i have never done a replacement before). i hit the submit button and not the 'request immediate replacement' button. Does this mean the replacement will be in with my next delivery?? got a bit confused with it to be honest. It said i had til april 4th to return the damaged product which is fine but i couldn't print a returns form for it as my printer is broken so can i just use the return labels i got with my invoice? thanks for the help and sorry if its a dumb question!!0 -
Never had to do returns before, but I'd suggest ringing up and checking whether it is coming in your next delivery, or as an immediate replacement. It you did select for next delivery, then they should be able to change it to immediate replacement, I would think anyway.
No idea about the returns form/label though!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I've been thinking (again!) is it best to wait until I get my books back before I cover the rest of my patch? just in case I by some miracle get 200pounds of orders (pound sign doesnt work!)They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Hello all!
This thread is fab!! I've been a rep since mid December and loving it!! Still on C5, up to about £350 so far and still got over a week left so really chuft. My territory is great and I work with 39 women and I'm slowly converting them all to Avon products lol
The only negative thing about Avon I have found is that I've had lots of territory issues. For some reason another rep was covering one of my streets for 3 years even though she was never allocated it. Obviously just putting her books here there and everywhere!!:rotfl: She contacted our ASM who just gave in to her and so now I'm not *allowed* to put books in three of the doors on that road because they have been her customers for 3 years. Alrighty then. But then I got a text the other night from a SL in a different area saying that two of my customers on a different road were friends/family to one of his reps and so don't put books through those doors. Hmm strange that, because one of the houses has ordered from me on C4 and didn't tell me this!! (methinks the whole family/friends thing is a bit of a fib and again someones been putting their books wherever!!) I have contacted my ASM so I'll see what she says. Has anyone else had any problems like this? I feel like I'm the only rep around where I live that sticks to the Avon rules and only puts books through my allocated houses!!!
Sorry rant over!!Money-saving part-time Student!!

A quick question, how many of you guys actually demonstrate the products? as I'm a little nervous of this (not being that great with make-up myself lol!)
I have just slipped a 'bargain box' leaflet into my next books, offering the online specials items at a discount if they spend over a certain amount, is this allowed?
Thanks!

The chance to get over the doorstep would be a start..........:D
Personally, the only time I see my customers is when I deliver their order, but it seems to work for me.
As to the last question - probably not, but I won't tell if you don't :rotfl:'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

What leaflets are these then? official ones from the website?
I still cant access the site, I called Avon this morning and said I have to wait a week before my details are sorted, that means I wont be up and running until Wednesday, no fair!
I had exactly the same problem, rang Avon and a lady sorted it there and then. She just got me to answer any further questions over the phone and within about 2mins I could log in. It will either be whoever wrote your contract or whoever input the info's fault as I'm sure you know your DOB!! This is what I told them and they sorted it on the phone.
Use the 0845 number you got on your welcome letter. All they do then is send you a letter to sign to confirm your date of birth...
Hope this helps. :beer:0 -
lol thanks Elliebee, I've just been door-dropping and have only really spoken to 2 customers so far, so I wasn't sure how most reps work.
Thanks!
