vicki dont worry hun it will be ok, sometimes it gets a bit like that but the ones who didnt leave them out have had them in there houses so probably had a good look thru them,
kat that sounds about right to me hun, egsample, i am in mailplan c therefore i get lots of sale items (unless they are huge bargains and mailplan a or b have snapped them all up) i am just starting c16but the town next to me are just putting there c15's out and they are mailplan f, its handy to get to know people in different mailplans because of back ordering if they are one campaign behing you then they will be able to back order aswel, this makes your life easier when looking for a certain item that your customer forgot to order 2 campaigns ago lol:rolleyes:september:£22 jackpotjoy,screensaver,£50 thomas cook voucher0 -
Hi
Just a question... Do you all buy new plastic covers for the books every time you give the books out to new addresses?
NO  - Some of mine are 6 or 7 months old!!!!!!
Incidentally, I've just had an experience which may help other people. About 3-4 weeks ago, I leafleted an area of 40 houses which I understood was not being done by anyone else. My leaflet simply said something like 'If you're not getting an Avon brochure and would like one, please contact..............'. I had no replies. Subsequently I was given this area officially and have just collected my first batch of books - I have 3 orders! I just put a book through every door with a note saying 'tick the box if you don't want one in future' (only 3 people did). Just goes to show that people will be tempted to buy if they actually see a book!'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Don't feel bad vicki, it takes time to build up a customer base, and some roads are better or worse than overs. If it were me, I would canvass the whole territory that I had been given at least twice, if you don't get at least a few customers I would check with the asm or ask the people on the road if there is already an avon lady on that road, it happens rarely I think. Next thing is to ask for a new territory, but don't give up on your first one yet, they might just be waiting to see if you are sticking around, some areas are reluctant to buy because there has been a high turnover of reps in their area, but once they see you are sticking around they will start to order.
Good luck

If you tell me your area number, which was given to you when you started, and you needed it to register online, then I can tell you your mailplan.

Oh ok, that is area 'G' thats one after me, and that is right coz I have to submit my c15 on tuesday
So if I can just work this out, now it will help everyone work out their own mailplan, if it works, I could be wrong, here is a list of what I think are the submit online dates for c15 and what mailplan it equates to, match up your submit date to find your mailplan:
Monday 22nd Sep= Mail plan E
Tuesday 23rd Sep = Mail plan F
Wednesday 24th Sep = Mail plan G
Thursday 25th Sep = Mail plan H
Friday 26th Sep = Mail plan I
Well I've started and now I have gotten stuck because I don't know if they give you a submit date over the weekend, can someone please confirm whether they have a submit date of either saturday and/or sunday? Or someone who is on mailplan D, C or J or K please confirm your c15 dates then I can finish my list for everyone.

Thanks Kat, One old lady I spoke to told me that the old rep was really unreliable, so I'm hoping that's the reason, and a few of them buy at work or from friends. Will see how I get on with the rest, a bit worried as I only have about 18 books now in total, and have another street to do tomorrow!0

Vicki, it takes usually three campaigns to really get customers into the swing of things - you'll know after that who doesn't give the books back, who doesn't want another book, who is ready to order within a day or two, who needs the book for a week... it does get easier! And, as Kat says, some roads are used to a high turnover of reps, and people popping up once, taking an order, then disappearing without delivering. Once they see you'll be around, they'll start to trust you.
Saila, do you mean what area you're in or what territory you've been allocated, hun?0 -
I'm area 382 and my submit date for C15 is Wed 24th Sep so I guess that makes me mail plan G according to Kat's list!!
Am a bit annoyed with my ASM at the mo, would seem that she has given 2 of us the same road!! When I first met up with her I gave her 3 road names that I wanted to do and she said that they weren't being done by anyone and that was fine. Then when I saw her the other day for the 2nd time I checked which roads were being done by other people so I knew how far I could go and she said that someone was doing one of my roads!! I've only canvassed 6 houses on the road so far and was planning on doing the rest this week. If I hadn't asked the question then I wouldn't have known that she had given that road to someone else so both of us would have been doing it!! Of the 6 houses I had done though I had 3 orders so am definitely not giving up those houses!!!0 -

Perhaps you could ask your sales leader for a few more brochures, I lost 7 brochures when I first dropped them, it happens, but not so good when you are only given 20! and a territory of 115 houses to cover! I asked my sales leader for more brochures, perhaps ones she was finished with and she gave me 10 c15s and about 30 c14s so I now have one side of the street on c14 and other side on c15, covered the area quicker and means you don't have to buy as many brochures each campaign because you use them twice.
