• Sorry, I've just realised that I went on a little bit of a rant there, but I've re-read it and actually I stick by what I wrote 100%.

have to say i agree with you completely!!!! when i phoned and registered for tax the lady was quite understanding and agreed that it was far better to make a simple phone call and get things straight than just hope it didn't happen.

one example of how things can go wrong is my oh worked part time for a company and never got wage slips, p60 or p45. turns out that this employer has not declared him on the books or something... now that he has a new job the 'nasty tax man' has 'taken' £900 from him as this is what they guessed he would owe... as it turns out even the person at the tax office agrees that this money should not have been taken BUT because the correct paperwork has not been filled in then at present there is nothing they can do about it... all this just before x-mas...

get your tax sorted - best to pay a small amount than end up with them either giving you a fine or worse still guessing what you owe!!!
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:

1) I have been doing Avon for 3 Campaign's! I'm on Campaign 17 and have around 25 customers so far and looking for more every day! It seems really slow and quiet though! Maybe the credit crunch!? I have to submit my order on Tuesday 11th and I'm not doing well at all this time! Has anyone got any ideas on how to boost sales for my next Campaign, Campaign 18!?

2) I am doing a PINK PARTY with a friend in aid of breast cancer on 22 November in my home town! She would like me to do an Avon Stall!? Any tips and advise would be great please

Please email me louise.austin@powys.gov.uk

You could offer a special offer - spend so much for a free gift or maybe a christmas hamper. Could try recanvassing territory?

I have to say that 25 customers sounds really good if they are all ordering - i only have something like 6 or 7 who order regulary and do ok from it.

Would maybe say not a good idea to put ur work? email address on an open forum?

Maybe contact your sales leader or ASM to get help for preparing the stall?

Can anyone help/offer advice?
I requested details of becoming an AVON rep in September in order to make some extra cash for christmas and I was sent the latest campaign and a letter to say that the Area Sales Leader would be in touch.......they haven't been. I've chased it up 3 times now - and each time they just send the same standard letter and the next campaign brochure....
Shall I just give up??
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

No, don't give up!

If you want to email me your details I will put you in touch with a sales leader, you're better off with a sales leader for a boss than an area sales manager anyway! Or, if you want to meet me halfway between gloucester and coventry, you can come join my team :D

My C17's a bit slow at the minute and only a week to go  Orders are currently £173. Lots of regulars haven't ordered this time and only 1 new customer so far. ASM says there's no more roads available nearby and a woman on my territory tonight reckons a girl already does her road. I've done 3/4 campaigns there now and have 17 or so customers on that road alone so find it hard to believe someone else does it

Think I'm going to have to go and finding business in businesses and canvass local hairdressers etc. Just have to wait til I get my printer the week after next :D
