ive back ordered lots of times, and yes they will count as MOV items, and would appear on your invoice as ordered from camp 16 - make sure you select right campaign for right products and prices when ordering.:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0

Just got sales figure for camp 16 £476 thats £100 up on last one.
17 camp So far got £135 from only 30 books back in from a new area.
could be a good area i hope.
Regarding back orders
always double check the drop down box is on the right campaign.0 -
thanks guys.
Do you think my ASM would mind me back ordering to maximise my commission? Just she said she'd come and show me how to order (although it seems pretty straight forward - specially after all the help off you guys!) and id hate to think i'll get a telling off first time round!
Oh just thought.... sorry to be a pain and ask another question but if the back order is recorded as Campaign 16 would that mean AVON would think that was my first campaign?! Therefore the "free gifts" i get for achieving certain targets on first ever so many campaigns would be lost as it would look like a poor 1st campaign if i only backordered say £10 worth of stuff?0 -
thanks guys.
Do you think my ASM would mind me back ordering to maximise my commission? - Depends on your ASM. Some will say do, some will say don't. At the end of the day they want to earn Avon more money. Once she shows you how to order, you'll see where to make the change easily enough. Just she said she'd come and show me how to order (although it seems pretty straight forward - specially after all the help off you guys!) - it really is simple! and id hate to think i'll get a telling off first time round!- she won't tell you off. They give advice, you decide which to take and which to leave - it's your business after all.
Oh just thought.... sorry to be a pain and ask another question but if the back order is recorded as Campaign 16 would that mean AVON would think that was my first campaign?! - No. Therefore the "free gifts" i get for achieving certain targets on first ever so many campaigns would be lost as it would look like a poor 1st campaign if i only backordered say £10 worth of stuff? - See "No" above(:D)
My ASM showed me how to order, but I'd already ordered half the stuff! You'll see the little drop down box next to each item number box.
I've just today received my first ever delivery :j, I'd ordered stuff from the current campaign (was 16), and backordered from previous campaign (15).
Basically, when you place your order for C17, whether you've ordered from the C17, C16, HT1 or HT18, bumper packs, internet specials, starter packs, sale leaflets... it all counts towards your Minimum Order Value ("MOV") for Campaign 17. It also all counts towards your sales figures for achieving President's Club! (Correct me ladies if I'm wrong on any of this.)
In my delivery I've got a letter from Avon saying "Well done on completing your first campaign, we hope you enjoyed it..blah blah blah". They will know that C17 is your first campaign.
Just gotta check off all the items! This evening I am mostly smelling of Bond Girl 007 (gorgeous!), and tomorrow I shall be smelling of Perceive!
Chillax (as the kids say). Don't worry about asking loads of questions, we all have. Plus, if your brain's this active beforehand, you're gonna think of loads of ideas for selling!

thanks Pinzy.
Gah.... i have belly butterflies worrying no one will leave their brochures out tomorrow... there were none out tonight at 6pm when i passed all the houses id dropped them to so there are 2 scenarios.... a/ everyone round here is fab and is gonna leave them out when im actually collecting.... b/no-one wants anything and are not gonna remember to leave them out..0 -
aww try not to worry, i bet ppl wll pop them outside in the morning on their way to work etc, and if there isnt a book on a doorstep knock on the door and ask for it. some of my customers dont leave their books out because they like me to knock on the door and ask for it, that way they can ask me any questions or i say would you like a free sample is there something youd like to try out that i can get for you
i bet tomorrow you will find loads of books left out and ppl giving you the books back when u knock on their doors, complete with some big fat orders!0 -
Hi Everyone
As most of you know im in Australia so we do things a bit differently over here. I am now in book 18 which is going really well for me. I have about 6 orders with 2-3 more coming. The grand total at the moment is sitting on $223.00 which is not to bad and im in the range of above $190 which is 25%. My workmates are asking me to place orders for them and I went to the Dr surgery and I have had repeat orders from the ladies there as well. My territory is going really well and picked up another 2 orders which is great. I dropped a book off to a friend who works at a key cutting booth so I will check if she wants to order on Saturday before work.
And all of this is amazing because I have had the flu now its a virus and its driving me round the bend. Not feeling my best at all....
Cant wait to bag the orders up...........
Have a great day0 -
I'm pretty much definately going to make PC as my sales are high and i've still got about 5-6 campaigns to do it but i can't really see any great benefits apart form the free gala dinner. I thought i would be able to get my books cheaper but apparantly you have to order 20 packs...gulp!!
I only order 8 packs now costing 7.16 so why would i want to spend the extra 3 pounds to get all them extra books i won't use. Its a shame they don't make each pack cheaper really.
Are any of you reps existing PC members that no of any other good benefitss....i realise you get offers on new items etc...just curious???!!!0 -
Just had my delivery omg how much stuff to go through..
I maybe absent for a while... lol0 -
well just done my first collection.... bit disapointed as only got a total of 9 books back out of 29 (and some of them i had to knock for!!)
Got 2 houses say "no more thanks"... and two "not this time but i want a book" BUT i also got 2 orders.. totalling £60!
So up to now i have bang on £100 in orders with more to come definetely off family :j0
