FB, spoke to cabot yesterday and they informed me that Mak-hall are owned by Cabot (same firm) different office in another city. I asked her to confirm that again and she said "we are the same company only under different names"

completely independent. they are owned by an american company and mackenie hall are the only interest they have in the uk so far.

also the director of Mack-hall used to be the director of cabot.... do some research people. it is easy to register a holdings company in the USA and then register UK company..its an old trick (ps lived in the USA for a rather long time so I am aware of this).
do some research on p.mackenzie and Mackenzie-hall working on behalf of cabot. come on......p.mackenzie was a director of cabot...
and to be told by an employee they are the same firm...

if it smells like coffee it tends to be coffee.....look at leagalbeagle and consumeradvise....you will see what I have read.

Cos they are thick perhaps?

I had a phone call from Experto Credite and their employee claimed never to have heard of Credit Management Consultants. They are a trading name of Experto and use the same address.

So work it out for yourself if you believe everything you're told on the phone! :rotfl:

Because they are liars or just plain stupid.

Call centre staff are on commission so they will say anything to get you to deal with them rather than anyone else. If you deal with MH instead of them then the Cabot staff don't get their cut of the pie so to speak.

Just tipping my toe in to say that not all call centre staff work on a commission basis. DCA probably do, granted, but just wanted to say that.

Actually cabot passed me on to Mack-hall but also just emailed cabot to get written proof of what they claimed. If I get it its going straight on here. Might even call them back and record the conversation......:A
