Taka I didnt know what Phish food was either - but was too embarrassed to say :o Does sound far too good! DansDad bought Magnums last night those maya ones - we nearly had two each.....:rotfl:
Not just me then! :rotfl: I miss magnums... :( But I did discover some yummy cherry ice cream in Aldi that isn't overly high in calories while still tasting good so I've been chomping that (occasionally!) - 1 scoop (~50g) plus a cone = ~1/3 of the calories of a magnum while still hitting the decadent, luxurious ice creamy spot! :j

Arghhhhhh... I want ice cream now! :( :rotfl:

Gosh, I've started an ice cream debate :D
Taka I didnt know what Phish food was either - but was too embarrassed to say

I didn't know what it was until last year when my Aunt served it to us and now we're hooked. If you haven't tried then - like michelle and gally said - don't!!!! It's far too scrummy and fattening and double the price of other nice ice creams. :o and there's still some in the freezer........

...wipes choc from mouth....anyhoo :) I spent £8 on lunch today (paid for friend too) and £3.20 on the bus. Am still pestering DH to hand in his overtime sheet so we can pay off some more off the op/window loan!

  • DH once worked as crew for a skills for Chefs conference, and he came home with a catering size pack of cookie dough icecream, and another one (can't remember which.) They were such big tubs they took up one whole draw of my freezer. Back then i could fit stuff like that in so it is a good job he doesn't work there now or i couldn't fit it in.

He also brought home a huge tray of Danish pastries and a tray of sarnies. We ate well that week. :rotfl:

I try and avoid ice cream really as it is so fattening, and disappears so quickly in our house. Ice pops all the way. :D

    Loving the debate!!! :rotfl:

We had a powercut last night in all that horrible rain so we had our icecream by candlelight...:D I wont try the Phish food (until there's a special offer on) I love the fact the the tubs tell me that a serving is 1/6th of a tub! Where on earth do they get that from????!!!!! Its like a certain branded chocolate gateux a small one serves eight apparently. i've never found anymore than 2 servings.....
