Thanks for all your posts
The house still smells a bit but it's slowly clearing. It's all very romantic with lots of smelly candles burning at night

yum, yum...I must resist though. I've been buying AF wine and cider which is keeping me going. We got new new smoke alarm after that. (I still have the same husband though!:D)
We're looking at fire alarms that will text you if they go off, but they're very expensive! But for peace of mind I'm thinking it'll be worth it and our home insurance should go down tooDid you make your DH clean up the oven after the burnt pie newgirly?
Had our first dancing lesson for a while last night, it went well as we hadn't forgot too much. Our teacher is trying to get us to keep in the correct hold which is sooo uncomfortable! Its £12 a week until September when it will be going upnot sure what to yet.
Spent £7 on lunch yesterday and caught up with a friend. She's been with her OH for 6 years which mean I've been with mine for 8 years at least  urgh, makes me feel old.
Got another lunch date today to meet a new friend for coffee. We met each other at the hen party two weeks ago so we'll see if we hit it off again
Been given 8 empty coffee jars today for jam makingCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Sounds like you're having a nice sociable time
Wish I could get my OH along to dancing classes. He says he is too old (at 45) and would feel self-conscious about being in a class with all those twenty somethings!!

WOW! Close call! Bit scary to find, though....
We had a very small kitchen fire a few years back - the hob was on (a saucepan was on) and kitchen roll was hanging over onto the cooker top... We were in the living room. Smoke alarm went off and we came out to see flames scorching our (custom handmade, real wood - bit of a treat) cupboard - cue 1 insurance claim - £750+ to replace the bottom and one side panel of a (small) wall cupboard!
The kitchen roll swiftly moved to a new place - where it still livesI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Lunch was good and new friend paid so it's my turn next time
Am stuffed on a muffin and mocha. Will go swimming tonight to work it off.
Aw, QB tell him not to be silly. My Dad started dancing last year at 50 and DH's parents did too (at 50ish, not last year) I think we argue and laugh in equal measures when dancing.
Ohhhh, scary greent! I take it the kitchen roll is now on the otherside of the kitchen to the cooker!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I lost two hours of my life the other night  Friend wanted to see the last Airbender film .... DH said it was so cringe-worthy he was having spasms and I felt like my senses had just been abused - do not see this film!!!! urrrgh
Had our final dress fitting yesterday which went well but I'm the widest of the bridemaids so got a bit of a confidence bash. I may have to get on the scales tonight and see what the damage is :undecided
