I think I need to too, but not for the same reason as you!
I'm sooo tired.... I was going to go to bed early yesterday but a friend wanted a couple of drinks at the pub as it was his birthday and so we didn't get home till 11:30. yawn. I managed to stay AF too. :A
Had a good weekendStayed up till 2am on Friday night reading a new book "the host" which was really great! Went to Oxford on Saturday and had a nice lunch and got my bra resized to a 32FF  Just shows that I need to exercise even more (going swimming tonight)
Stayed up till 2am againand then off we went to a BBQ on Sunday. lovely nosh and no clearing up to do. Went and saw the "A-Team" which was really funny.

I'm sat here at work in borrowed tracksuit bottoms and high heels after getting soaked in a lunch time downpour. I look at bit of a state  Its was nice and sunny when I popped to Sains, came out with my shopping to a thunderstorm!
P.S My boss has just kindly pointed out that I look a bit of a mess and asked why I didn't just pop into a shop and buy some more trousers. Told him I can't afford it, he said he understands and there won't be any pay rises this year
Spent: £1.70 bus £4.60 food.
Oh and do you remember my 'friend' who said she thought I was bi-polar? She's just broken up with her boyfriend. I must be a 'orrible person cause I'm feeling quite smug about that. I spoke to my Mum and she said that well, its not very nice of me but it's understandable. Here's hoping they don't get back together again (they tend to break up at least once a year)
I'll just go and polich my pitchfork...Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I can't believe your boss said that!! How ridiculous to get new trousers just because you're waiting for your clothes to dry off!
We're going to have a pay freeze next yearThen again in the current climate I'll be happy to be employed!

Ohhhh, had a bit of a shock today
I've been going through my accounts to get July all sorted in the speadsheets. Checked my personal account and Bravissimo had taken almost £90 out of my account _pale_ Turns out the voucher I had for £80 hadn't tracked properly. Cue me calling them in a strop and my phone decided to break!
Work nicely let me use their phone line and in end I've been promised that the £80 will be refunded to me and should I incur any charges from the bank (I may have told them that I'd gone overdrawn, I hadn't) then they would reinburse me. :T Phew. Very nice I spoke to too.
Just have to find my phone's original box to take it in tomorrow to get it fixed.
Busy day really...
and I watched the second Sherlock Holmes last nightNot as good as the first one by far but I did have really nice dreams afterwards...

You're right Jellie, I am happy to be employed especially by such a nice company but a bit extra cash would be soo nice. They already pay us less than most firms but then they are buying us breakfast tomorrow so it balances out.
My boss is very direct - he gets all the 'difficult' clients as he won't back down to them. When I first stared (gosh, almost 3 years ago now) everyone kept warning me...'now, he might take a bit of getting used to'......'bit gruff, but good hearted'....I think he must have scared a few secretary's! But tbh, he reacts just like my dad does! :rotfl:

Sorry- didn't express myself very well there and reading back it sounds a bit odd!
I think it's pants so many of us won't be getting pay rises. Especially when bills seem to be increasing!
Hope your clothes have dried and good luck getting the phone fixed.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0
