You should change all your text to black - you might find the missing money then :rotfl:

I feel like I've lead you astray, you can't hide anything from us as soon as I spotted your next post I was already highlighting your text to see what you had hidden

ohhh, completely forgot to say that surprise party went brilliantly and Mum honestly didn't have a clue that anything was happening. My quiche and cake went down a storm but the pasta wasn't so popular.

Had a huuuge argument with DH that almost ruined the weekend but we made up.

We then went out and spent.........£100 on curtains  I had no idea they were so expensive! and then £15 on a takeaway on Saturday and another £10 yesterday on rice, pasta and nachos for tea :p so an expensive weekend all round really!

I have been really good on the takeaway side, today kids go swimming and we used to get chippy tea after as it was a bit late to cook but the last few months I have purposely not took money with me (in case I change my mind!) and again today we came home and I did HM chips instead :)
My GC challenge this month is going to be high though :( and a load of other things to add to it as well so wont be a OP month this month I think :(

Glad you made up with OH :)

Glad the weekend turned out well and as for the curtains, well, you mustn't lose sight of the fact that OPing the mortgage is a challenge, not a necessity. You do need to have a life & make a home as well so well done :T.

    PS what colour ;)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I need to take a step back and realise this too as it's become an obsession with me! A friend asked if I wanted to go out this weekend and my first thought was oh no I cant spend any money unneccesarily  bearing in mind I havent been out for months and months! But its still hard to say yeah lol

    Thanks pammy :)

I definitely have good and bad months with takeaway and my grocery budget!

The curtains are a really deep purple GG :) and I love them and have already forgiven them for being so expensive :D
