Hi everyone
Just popping on to say that I'm still alive and at almost 3 weeks Jacob is a very contented baby (so far, I have my fingers crossed that he'll stay this way) so I'm not suffering from lack of sleep too much. Saying that I go to bed at 9pm and crawl out about 11am
My Mum has been a star and I've got the MIL over this afternoon so that she doesn't feel left out. It'll be the first time that it's just us so I'm hoping it goes well.
Our grocery spend is horrendus atm  and I need to get it back under control. However my fav auntie is visiting this weekend and I have ordered wine and rather a lot of cheese - CHEESE! I'm going to make myself sick on stilton and brie after 9 months of not having any
I was chuffed with myself for getting RAC membership for £8! as Quidco gave me £20 cashbackCan't believe that the AA wanted almost £60 - am very glad that I checked it out.
He's beginning to stir so I'd better be offWill pop in again soon

The wine and cheese were lovely - thanks newgirly.
We're still all alive hereand I even managed to have a quick bath today. Apart from the bath, one load of washing and curry on the oven that's all I've managed to do today!
So how can I still be tired???? Maybe ording a breadmaker will wake me up.....Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

A bath, dinner, and laundry - with a new born :eek::eek:
:D
Clearly you are a bit of a natural at this parenting malarky. Glad to hear it is going well.
p.s. not that I want to encourage you but if you want a breadmaker, definitely get a panasonic. Can't recommend it highly enough. I also paid the bit extra for the nut dispenser. I am your bad idea bear!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

I did have an additional thought about sleeping, it may be worth having a day where you do nothing but feed him, eat and drink as much as possible (you are b/f? Ignore me if not).
This will help your milk supply to be really generous, then more chance of a good snooze. xPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Ohhhh muse - you don't mean the panosonic SD-2501WXC? I couldn't, I shouldn't, it's far too expensive............guess what just got delivered?
Can't wait to give it a go this weekend.
Should anyone ask why I chose this one I'm sending them to you muse - my bad idea bear.
I am b/f grateful. It was really hard to start with but we're getting better. I'll up my fluid and food for a day on your advice and find a day to do nothing but veg. I leak loads though - can soak a t-shirt in mins!
I think we've got lucky with Jacob as he's a very chilled out baby and only really cries for food and because of wind. I'm going to try infactol for a couple of weeks to see if it helps.
Haven't managed to find the time to do the finances or a meal plan but I'll get there. Need to attack the raspberries and tayberries too as DH gets attacked by thorns every time he goes to the shed!
how is your bump Cath? I admit I haven't read anyone's diary so I'm totally out of touch! Luv to everyone though.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

This sounds like a good idea, I used to spend literally all evening with DD attached but want to be an even better breastfeeder this time.

I remember the days of sleeping on a towel because of leaking!
I'm good thanks Smlsave, am 30 weeks on Monday, bump is lovely. I do love being pregnant and this is my last baby so trying to enjoy it as much as possible. Bit tired but that's to be expected! Iron a little low at 10.2 so have just been to buy some spatone.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
