We are definitly working on baby time now and am surviving on two hourly naps. MS has gone out of the window atm with DH cooking and buying almost everything. We also shelled out £120 so that I had a private room at hospital as I was kept in for 4 days. I had to have 5 blood transfusions and scared everyone half to death.
Breastfeeding got off to a shaky start but after seeing an NCT helper we're getting latched on and Jacob's feeding well. He's slightly tongue-tied so its a bit painful for me but its getting better so we're going to see how it goes. We're using disposables until his cord falls off and then its to reuseable nappies. We're already using reusuable wipes.

Yay - nice to see you. That sounds like you have had a rough intro to motherhood. No wonder they kept you in. You soon forget though any bad experiences. I thought i would need a blood transfusion after DS1, but managed to avoid one, and it didn't put me off having DS2 18 months later.
Wow - you sound like you are kind of thinking about the money. The only tip i can give is don't bother changing bubs before a feed, as after they will do a great big poop and need changing again. We went through loads of nappies the 1st time.
Are you ok otherwise apart from tired?0 -
Hey Sml glad to hear you and baby are okay-what a scary time tho!!
Big hugs to you and baby Jacob0
