The bus ride went fine :) Absolutly knackered me out though! We got back in, had 5mins of cooing and smiles and then from 6-10:30pm was spent pacing with an extremly fussy baby.

Do you have your house up for sale while you look at houses pammy?

Just popping in to say that all is ok here :) Jacob is still convinced that 10:30 is his bedtime and we're going to look at ways to make it earlier in the following weeks.

Am still loving my breadmaker :D especially the fact that I can bake a cake in it without having to put on the whole oven. The chocolate hazelnut cake is divine!

My DS was like that too, we tried the 30 minute method, every couple of days got him to bed 30 mins earlier. Once he was going to sleep straight away at the new time the next day it was 30 mins earlier. He was about 10 weeks when we started and went to bed at 11, by about 16 weeks we got to 7.30-7.30 and he bypassed the night feed too :j (did result in BF him for about 2 hours when he woke tho, but its a price to pay for a full nights sleep!!)

Glad to hear you are still doing well both of you. I have been thinking of a breadmaker but dont have much space in the kitchen plus DH likes white bread and I like white.

I'm intrigued by making cakes in the breadmaker. which breadmaker do you have? I have a panasonic, and apparently need to line the tin when baking cakes. I think it might be a bit fiddly due to the shape so have never tried. Is it easier than I imagine?

I used to make cakes in my morphy Richards fastbake 2, and it worked quite well. I didn't need to line or grease the tin at all. It did come out loaf shaped though, but not necessarily a bad thing. I had a few recipes in my manual, but I also used a couple of the bags of mix you just add water too and they were tastiest. Banana loaf worked well though.
