    I'm baaaack! :j

Had a lovely holiday and now have to go through the finances to see what's going on and if we can buy a car next month.

Four loads of washing has been done and work have been treated to scones :) I converted the unspent money back to £'s and got £135 :T So far £40 has been spent on bus pass, £5 on work meal, £10 on grocerys and I'm going to have to buy some maternity trousers today, the rest will go back in the bank.

Did the pizza recipe go ok then Pammy? I think I've already put the scone recipe on your diary.

Glad you had a nice time well done for coming back with spare cash I never do that. Scones sounds lovely never made any but I do like eating them.

Welcome home! I'm glad you had a good holiday but I was wondering what this "bringing money back" business is... It's not something I come across very often :D

Well, since you all made me feel so good for bringing back cash from holiday I've treated ourselves to a £10 M&S meal deal :A nomnomnom

I've gone through the finances and if we borrow £6000 from dear ol' Dad we can get the car next month. We'll then ideally need to pay back £500p/m to get a gold star but with me going on mat leave I don't think it'll be possible. To get a silver star we'll pay back £400p/m and a bronze star for £300p/m.

Last year DH managed to put in on average an extra £472p/m into the joint account so I pray he can do the same this year.

Am off to see the new Birth Centre tonight, I hope its good!

Oh poo, ignore my stars on my last post - I forgot about the plan to do the bathroom :( which we're budgeting a max of £3000 for.

 even averaging £375 a month would pay it off only in 2 years.

"Dear money angel :A Please let DH get a large bonus, my lottery ticket win and me to be extra MSE."

I think I'm going to plant a £1 tonight and see if it grows :)
