Feeling better today than you guys :) Am eating pretzels ... nomnomnom

Here's hoping the 'it gets better after 3 months' works for me, I'm fairly hopeful as both Mum and MIL have said it cleared up for them.I'm keeping my fingers crossed too newgirly.

I will try to rest Courgette, but I had soo much planned for my week off! Maybe I'll just sit and look pitiful on the sofa and get DH to do everything :D

It is the blue covered owners manual youngone! I'm so glad to hear that your friends liked it :) It's not to to arrive until January now :( so I've just printed the cover for DH to see.

Fingers crossed we'll finish mid-day Xmas eve so I can get home and get everything prepped. My boss has mentioned that if it's quiet Thursday we might not have to come in Friday but I'm not holding my breath.

It's funny Radish, I don't feel maternal or even broody I just know I want children and now feels like a good a time as any! :rotfl:too late to change my mind now!
And no you can't blame pregency hormones for agreeing we could all come many weeks ago :D
Awwww :D I hope 2pm is ok for you? Remember you've got to sit on the stairs as there's no room otherwise for you and I expect all the washing up to be done!

I picked up the poussin today - cost just under £4 each - and they're so cute and tiny! My work collegue looked at me with murder in her eyes though when I told her they're only 4-6 weeks old.

My work have been lovely and gave me a £60 voucher for Asda yesterday so that went on the food shopping last night :j

Tonights challagne is to get the house presentable ... wish me luck!
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
    Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway

Nooooooooooooooooooo...............I just lost a huge post!

    grumble, grumble

Here's the short, non chatty version :-

    Christmas went well :)
Was in bed at 10:30 New Years Eve :o
Didn't paint the living room but did clear out the study :T

Estimated spends for this year are: -

    £7000 on a new car
    £3000 redoing the bathroom
    £1000 owe Dad
    £1000 on holidays
    £1000 on baby stuff

Basically we need an extra £1085 a month for the expected 2011 spends when we'll be losing at least £500 income a month when I'm on maternity.

:rotfl:It's going to be an interesting year!

  • SML, don't worry about the money hun, things will sort themselves out, they always do. All of us seem to have at least one eye on the game even when we do think we have.

    Happy New Year!

hmm sounds interesting but good luck with the plans.
Is the car a definite need?
Is the bathroom needed this year when you have other big ticket stuff as well as mat leave?
I am sure you have already thought it all through :p
