Yes I went last Saturday. And no - you need to be rich to buy anything there. OH did ok though

    Bicester is not cheap.

BUT if you are after specific luxury items you can make big savings:D

so is it the same place I am on about...about 14 miles from oxford...when I first left the army I stayed down there for awhile...got a job on one of the many USAF bases...those were the days...I am going back to the 80's...
quite frankly I sometimes wish I didn't come back home....

I'm thinking of buying DH a watch for his up comming birthday.

But my budget was about £300.

As their watches start at about £550, am I likely to get anything for £300 in the outlet store:confused:

IIRC, they have a few brands although it does say Tag Heure on the sign. My husband bought me a Maurice Lacroix from there at quite a hefty discount and that came in at under £300. If I were buying a watch for him, I would almost certainly go and look there, just in case...

It's one of those thing where it doesn't matter what size you are!

That's the one. I don't know what was built when you were there, but where the road in from Oxford branches to go to the town centre or Aylesbury, they've built a little shopping centre and a supermarket.
  • I was there yesterday, still as busy as ever and still under construction. I only went because i was bored and had a browse around. I have an email which entitles you to a further 10% off pretty much all the stores if anyone wants it and is planning a trip? I can forward it to you. You hand it in for a one day "VIP Card". As long as you do it before the end of october. I used it yesterday but its not customer explicit and I plan to use it again when the new section has been built...hopefully that will be before th end of october.

But back to the original question though, Bicester Village isn't that great. I'm normally from the North and Cheshire Oaks is far bigger and better. Most of it is over stock and past season stock, still quite expensive though i thought.
