Just wanted to say thanks for all the posted offers. I dont always get on here to post anyglitches, dont think im clever enough or brave enough to try out/start one on my own. I always thank the original poster.

Money is very very tight at the mo, and off topic ( Hotpoint have a factory returns shop in Peterborough for about 1/2 price white goods - PM for details). I have been saveing for nearly 5 weeks to get a tumble dryer so bootsing has had to be sort of stopped, although i did use my points to get the new N7 smokey eyes and mascara - gone into the beauty box im doing for DD whos getting ready to start collage in the next few weeks - delayed due to spinal op. Many thanks to everyone who wished her well - was very tearful 8 1/2 hr op but she now stands nearly 3 inches taller and has changed shape from a size 12 to size 8.

I personally think the thread is very friendly - Many people kindly swapped/sold there excessive nail file collections from the previous glitch to me, for DD to use in collage. These are people ive never met, so to be able to trade with relative strangers is amazing.

I do have some vouchers to spare - please PM if you NEED them, could swap??

    1500 oral b
    pampers bag
500 points when you soen £10 baby dept
    20% baby tablewear
    100 tixylix syrup
3 for £3 heinz fruity pots
    save £1 envive
I am so glad her op went well:T Best wishes for college x

Re: unnecessary chat, people that have been on MSE a few years have the benefit of remembering when the old Boots chat threads (from a couple of years ago) were closed down by the mods (because of loads of complaints about chatter getting in the way of bargains) and the posting rules were changed so that you could only post a new glitch and nothing else. (Pash will tell folks about this, she was around at the time and it was her chat thread that eventually got unceremoniously dumped.)

The argument "just check Post 1 for the bargains" only works to a degree because Post 1 isn't updated in real time, whereas Boots.com obviously is! So if you want to see the very latest bargains you still have to check the thread.

There are loads of examples of unnecessary chat but I wouldn't want to hurt people by mentioning them. But historically - over the last 4 years - that's the one thing that crops up the most as a criticism of the Boots thread.

The other thing that is widespread here is people swapping (which I've done myself before) or even trading which is completely against MSE rules and leaves the thread open to attack.

I only say all this cos I care about the thread, having seen it closed down in the past. No doubt, some will label me a misery, a trouble maker or the thread police, but that would be far from the truth and I've very broad shoulders anyway. <smile>

    Regards
    Dave

If you pick up the 'buying for baby and you' guide in store there is a voucher in the back for £2 off huggies preemies or size 1 - so you can get a pack of size 1s for £1.75 in store. :)

That is right. Iieee or anta or those that need any, I am happy to post the coupon in the back of mine and grab another couple for you if it helps.

I guess I might be called a lurker also - the thing is I don't like to talk about nothing, I prefer to share tips/glitches and am doing so (I found some nice parenting club vouchers combinations a while ago and gladly shared with you all). I don't have time to read every post - I'm mum, wife and don't spend all my time in front of computer. :A
Anta - a face from the past!

Good to see you around here again, didn't know you still posted.

    Hi guys
As i'm new to this what is the cheapest easy way to get a new mascara from Boots at the mo. Any ACM glitches?
The new no 7 mascara you can get cheaper if you have:

    1 x pinkie
    1 x no 7 till spit
    1 x acm points 250 or 350 reported back
oh and a bucket full of confidence to use two £5 off on one product :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You get the GWP with this too.

Or maybe try the 17 mascara, get the free eye dazzle wys £3 and use the 17 voucher for a free lipstick.

    HTH
