After school snacks

Hi I had the same dilemma and decided to bring their tea time forward so we now have a "high tea" of cheese, biscuits drop scones, fruit, bread sticks, jelly, or basically anything healthy that constitutes a sit down buffet, (after they get out of school uniform) This has had the effect of staving off the grumpy hour before our dinner time! in fact they no longer have dinner with us in the week, which make for a pleasant change- no squabbles of "I don't like this "e.t.c. Then me & hubby have a lovely meal after they go to bed. both of us works shifts so cuts down on the rush to get a meal prepared and we get more "quality time". HTH:)when things go wrong, Don't go with them!0
