Many thanks Tim.I will investigate and keep you posted.
You can keep the same bed. Peg board would be better than plywood though.0 -
LOL !!! Plywood maybe not the best example but you get my drift. Many thanks for your help Tim.Onwards and Upwards0

Harrisons won't sell to you, but they should be able to point you in the direction of a retailer. If I were you I'd stay away from the big chains for the reasons I explained earlier.0 -
sorry i meant rang harrisons so i have altered it lol.Onwards and Upwards0

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!
I made the stupid mistake of ordering a mattress from their website in a rush simply because they had a so called SALE ending that day. It was afterwards that I discovered several things.
1. Their so called SALE is ALWAYS ending that day - whichever day you go online.
2. Their 5 YEAR GUARANTEE ain't worth a damn. If you read their Terms and Conditions you'll see that they only give you back 90% of the cost in the first year then it drops dramatically each year until year five when they'll only give you 10% back.
3. People were giving them bad reviews on websites such as this but for every bad review there was - conveniently - a super duper 10 out of 10 glowing review next to it. SO OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY THE COMPANY THEMSELVES!!!!
4. If you cancel an order they'll hang on to your money for at least 28 days.
I cancelled my order immediately but BE WARNED. They have a penalty clause stating that you must cancel orders within 24 HOURS or they deduct a big fat charge. Luckily I spotted this in the small print so made sure I did this. HOWEVER, in spite of cancelling an order that was a complete non starter in the first place I am still waiting A MONTH LATER to get my money refunded despite sending them a reminder. I am now having to get Visa onto it to get my money back. As far as I'm concerned this makes them a bunch of thieves! Thank goodness I used a credit card.0 -
well thats YOUR word against theirs.
Im a judge and I cant believe your version of events without speaking to them aswell.
Goodbye.0 -

I could very well be wrong, but are the rules for distance shopping not that you have a 7 day cooling off period from when you receive an item to cancel the contract and return the product? Admittedly if they were being absolute tools about it, they could "not receive it in the post etc"0 -
It is now 44 DAYS since I cancelled the order and NO REFUND has been given. Bearing in mind the order was a non-starter in the first place as I cancelled within 24 hours this, in my mind, makes it out and out THEFT. And no - JUDGE??? DANGEROUSSPORTS - that is not my word against theirs it is A FACT. After giving the details to the fraud section at Visa they are now actively persuing them.0
