Thanks for posting such a complete list of your interview, it will help so many people.
I thought that you should have got £5 per week, per child for childrens clubs.and activities. I would say it is not a luxury and would possibly try and fight that one.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
I didn't expect to be allowed the 115.00 for xmas and birthdays, but I was hoping!
The after school clubs are a luxury as I am at home while they are there, meaning they aren't really essential. We will still send the kids but it will have to come off something else.

Hi glad things were ok, what happened about your car
We were allowed to keep the car as its a very very old c reg and only worth 400.00 lol, plus its actually broken down now and will cost more to repair, so the OR has let us keep it and send it to be scrapped. We are borrowing my father in laws car for now and the OR has allowed this, the insurance etc and maintenance covers our fil's car until we get our own....whenever that will be!!!0 -
Actually thats a good point, he did say something about child benefit as an income.
Let me just check...
Hubbys average income was worked at 425.00 a week!! Usually varies between 320.00 - 420.00 because of fluctuating bonuses. Mine was 350.00 a month. We also had child tax credit as income.
Hubbys monthly: 1703.82
My monthly: 350.00
CTC: 402.32
CB: 276.00
Total in: 2732.14 he said 2455.00
Which works out to:
Mine: 350.00
Hubbys: 1702.68
CTC: 402.32
So no, he hasn't added it. Phew lol. Although I wish he hadn't averaged hubbys wages so high, more often than not they are at the lower end of the scale.
If you think he has averaged it hi6 monh gh then have a look at his last 6 months pay packets and do your own average and see if you get lower and if you do then again you need to fight your corner.
Don't sign the agreement until you are happy with it.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Erm unless ive added it up wrong then you only have a surplus of £120 so an IPA of £60 is all they should be asking for
anyone else want to check those figures, see if ive got them wrongThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

Goodness he asked alot of questions!!peachyprice wrote: »I'm not suprised he disallowed £115 for xmas/birthdays, that's £276 per child per year.
I do think the afterschools clubs was particularly mean, that's penalising your children for your circumstances. Other than that it seems pretty reasonable.
I didnt expect that much, I hoped he would allow some and just reduce it but he disallowed it all!!
I would rather lose the kids clubs than xmas and birthdays, after all, who doesnt buy for their kids at xmas and birthdays?!?!?
I just cant get my head around the logic that birthdays and xmas are luxuries! We have never gone 'mad' over xmas and b'days anyway due to having no money lol, but they should let us account for something!
To me that is penalising the kids more than no school clubs!0 -

I know, I suppose they seem to think that our kids cant have a better quality of life because their parents cocked up.
We were doing BR just to get a better life for them, and it will be, but its a shame we weren't allowed certain things for them. I would rather lose the home and car maintenance than xmas and birthdays.0
