  • Have done loads of paperwork related stuff today - sorting finances, etc, and was going to go for a little sleep, but resisted and kept on - so really pleased with what I've achieved and have found out that another £500 off debts last month :j , so getting better...:D

Also, just had a call from DS college to say can we make sure we get to the presentation evening tonight as DS has been nominated...

Can't believe it as we went through hell last year with him playing up and he nearly got turfed out, but he really turned it around and passed with flying colours and got his diploma. I was so proud of him but can't believe he may get an award too... I will be a wreck now - fingers crossed for him... Will let you know later this evening.

So, I'd better go have a shower and get dressed (yes, have been sitting at the desk in slippers and dressing gown all day, but have had the window open for some fresh air... :o don't know why that would count though, hehe)

Will update my list later - take care all...

PS: G&B - what a complete a*se he was - glad you stood up for yourself, my hubby would have done the same, actually, he probably wouldn't have made it to the sign... :rotfl:

  • AnWs mum - thanks for your input. I need to get details of her contract I think.

hex - As I have no idea about her sick pay details in her contract I'll need to talk to her. Thank you for the details about SSP - it's all a minefield isn't it!!!!

I'll get back to you when I have more information and thank you so much.

    So today:

Put clothes and clothes horses away
    Vaccummed bedroom
Swept and mopped kitchen floor (wasn't able yesterday)
    Tidied and dusted bedrom
    Cleaned bedroom window
    Put stuff out to recycling
Still hoping to do the cats tray later

cha97michelle ~~~ no thanks your son sounds far to much for me to handle!!, good luck with the cot mending.

Pigpen~~~ I am sure the OT, is there to see the children and you, not to inspect your flying, and lists!! good luck as well, if she says anything, just give her the duster / mop /hoover and tell her to get cleaning, she will soon go!!

I am now even more annoyed, I popped in to see if maybe the 'scheduled maintainence' was finished and here are you all, been posting all day. I've been getting the 'forum closed 8am -9pm' message instead of the forum all day!!! Guess there was just a few of us as hex and Johanne posted on the facebook page too.

Michelle, have you got a bed for him? Might be an ideal time to move him from his cot. We did that with DS2, he was about 20 months and couldn't actually walk yet but didn't have much of a choice when he broke something on it.

Hope the OT goes well pigpen

Ds2s clinic appointment went as expected, no change on this meds so they're giving him 6 weeks off it then try something else. I am starting to wonder if any of these wonder drugs to help reduce bed wetting actually work.

I've missed a conference already, I'd crossed the wrong date out in my diary when they were rearranged, first thing I knew was a 'where were you' email, oops. Have several meetings and conferences in now, calendar is getting rather full up!

Haven't done too much in way of housework, helped DP clean the cars, 2 loads laundry, went to get a seperate HD to 'clean up' the computers especially so I can reboot one completely, took DS2 to his appointment, cooked meals and filled/emptied DW but that's about all so far. DS2s football and cycling group tonight so won't get much done then either......oh well, always tomorrow
One day I might be more organised...........
