I've got some lenses in my cycling glasses that somehow enhance the light and make everything look brighter,

I think a lot of people on here have got those as well, mostly wearing them when looking at the property market!

I just assumed that this was a joke site, but it seems too elaborate for that. Tell me it's not for real?

I didn't quite get it either until I saw the production in action STS.
Sounds a good business as, if they wear out so quickly as Dave says, got to keep replacing them.....and stockists are scarce.

Next time someone moans about 'UK doesn't make anything anymore' one can reply that we are the World leaders in manufacturing Ferret Wear.

The factory owner got to hold one for the first time recently as the designer brought one up for a fitting session. When you spec a garment, you put it on a real life model (in my case, a female human of average size) to check the patterns prior to production.... you pin and fiddle with garment until it is correct.

    I don't need to elaborate on that :D .

Still, good for me that this factory is still in business after 36 years.
He used to supply thousands of garments, weekly, to The High St. and emply 70 F/T staff.
When the work shifted offshore, his business just shrank year on year...surviving with school wear and kit for sports teams.

    I counted 6 employees when I went.

Then the supermarkets went for the £5 school uniform battle, and that part of the business was wiped out too...though the same supermarkets employ skilled textile workers to sit on their checkouts instead.

But the ferretwear is keeping the business alive, meaning I have 'local' production too. So, behind everything, there is a bigger story.

PS; Enjoy Cornwall NDG...hope it doesn't get cut short like the last holiday.

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
