    Morning!

Weighed in this Sat and lost 2.5! :j Even after the pizza and cider:p

Unfortunatly this just shows that exercise works:rotfl:

spanky and imamess, I've never tried the ww cakes but with your endorsements I think I'll give them a go! I'm a crisp person myself but refuse to pay the ww crisp prices:eek: . I've found Squares and French Fries to be the best alternatives

    Hello mumofcookers!
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
    Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway
  • Had a rubbish w/end drank too much wine on Sat & Sunday and a pesky packet of Revels. Am going to try and have 18 points a day for the rest of the week (instead of 23) to give me a slight chance. Have made some no point soup, so I think I'll be living off that.
It's always wine or bread that tips me over the edge! Hey ho, hopefully will be able to recoup for the weigh in on Thursday.
Did go for a 40 minute walk though yesterday and did 20 minutes on my stepper thing (can barely walk today)!!

thanks mumofcookers that makes sense now! im thinking of changing my target weight - i wanted to get down to 8st 8lbs which was the lowest possible weight for me to stay in healthy bmi range, thinking of changing it to 9st 9lbs which is mid-way in the healthy weight range. I used to be about 8st 7lb when i was younger and think i looked too thin so might aim for the higher target and might stand a chance of getting WW for free!!

melwright and smlsave - exercise does work unfortunatly :( i dont enjoy it and ive gotta walk the great north "run" in 2 weeks!!! dreading it!!

Just thought it was worth mentioning that Farmfoods have a huge selection of Weightwatchers stuff really reasonable (compared to the supermarkets anyway). Definitely worth a look.

  • I'd love to join in if that's okay!

Been doing WW online since March 2007 and lost almost 2st. However, I've been gaining 2lbs/losing 2lbs every week for the past year and need to kick start myself back into it!

I'm getting married next year, currently a size 16 and would love to get down to a 14 (possibly even a 12!)

Can you put me down for a 50lb loss target? I've made myself a star chart (sad, I know but it works for me!) with 50 squares. Each pound I lose earns a star.

Nice to meet you all.... :)
2008 wins: Avon handcream, 4 x body cream set, L'Oreal moisturiser, Tom Tom One XL sat nav, Jackie Collins book, Orange Liveradio, 6 night holiday to China!, 2 x Status Quo tickets, St Helier Cider stuff, Aperitivo bowl, signed Paul O'Grady book, Jessop's CeWe photo book, Flight of the Red Balloon dvds/book, Wild Bean Cafe mug & spoon.

hiya gemmagem, added you to the list with your target, welcome! i like your star chart idea, our ww leader has done us all a similar thing for christmas with a picture of audrey hepburn in a little black dress with 14 stars on it. each time we lose a pound we colour in a star and we are one pound closer to the dress lol!

  • Doing weight watchers from home now... been so many times that i have all the books to do it, and have digital scales to record my loss.

    Started Monday 8th Sept
    Weight 11st 10lb
Target loss per week is 2lb to get down to 9st for my 21st birthday

    Monday 15th Sept
Got on scales 11st 5lb WOOP

    Monday 22nd Spet
Got on scales again 11st 2lb DOUBLE WOOP

As i am off work at the moment and starting a job where i work from home I have started getting some weightwatchers frozen meals from iceland - only £1 each BARGIN, just having that.
Then went down the butchers 4 weeks ago paid £25 and got 2 MASSIVE bags full, with potatos and veg lovely dinner on the night, have also got some spag bol, etc.

Over the next two weeks im going to try do a little bit of excercise each day... just 20 mins minimum, but I REALLY want to be 9 st for my birthday so I can look and feel GORGEOUS and CONFIDENT

Skimmed milk, cutting out booze (saving money here too) just drinking diet coke which is 0 points.

Have some great WW recipies if anyone wants any... just pm me.
