O2 Iphone Contract WIthout Phone

If you jailbreak your iPhone these days, the jailbreaking will simply be reversed when you apply an update from Apple. Apple's software updates will wipe the iPhone before installing anew and restoring your settings, messages, call logs and applications from its backups. Of course this means that if you want to keep the jailbreak you need to jailbreak it again after the update has completed, usually requiring a newer version of the jailbreaking tool.
Essentially that's what people with jailbroken and/or unlocked iPhones do when they need warranty service - restore to Apple's original firmware and there is no way the iPhone can be distinguished from a stock one.0 -

Does any body know any tried and tested links for jailbreaking the iphone!:j
There are plenty out there but which can be trusted, also with free updates after the phone has been updated!
I have done nothing to the phone yet, it is still in the box!
It was a O2 pay as you go!0 -
I have a standard Online 35 contract, normally £35 a month but I'm paying £20 on a retention deal. They also supplied me with an Ignito phone. I didn't get on with the phone so sold it on eBay and used the proceeds to put towards a PAYG Iphone. Everything works fine using the unlimited data bolt-on.0
