  • Assuming that you have registered and are logged in you will see a thanks button at the end of each post. If you click on it the button disappears never to return.

So click on thanks when you enter and if you return to the comp it will not be there so you know that you have entered.

Cheers for a speedy reply, BUT I still need to click on the comp, to know I have been on the thread, and entered and thanked the OP?

Is there a way i can see from the main screen, thereby saving valuable clicks and time?

    cheers

Subscribe to the thread, click on thread tools at the top of the competition page you have thanked, it will then appear in your user cp, then on the main page a tick should show at the end of the thread title

    wow, what lovely posts...

    good luck itsalongroad,
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

  • MSE is a strange and wonderful place at the moment. Everyone's being charming to each other, all the smileys have turned into big red kisses and I just got "Access Denied" when I tried to post...

Anyway, I'm giving up on IE for today and retreating to my dear old AOL browser cos the smileys are still working on there. It's not often AOL comes up trumps!

Edit: Oh soddit. Now they've stopped working on here too. I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto...

I'm gonna ask a dumb question (probably been asked before too) but seeing as everyone is on happy pills atm.......

with regards to links we post - if I copy & paste into the address bar, then 'they' won't know we've come through mse? Or should I stick it in google or something??

just being paranoid! but would appreciate knowing the extra effort is the right way!
    :p

Copy and pasting a link into a new tab/window won't show where you have come from
