OMG - has anyone else had the email from Wendy Riley at spinningjenny (cross stitch)? They've CC'd everyone's email addys. I can see CATZ's in there for one. !!!!!!, things like this really p**s me off. I've emailed back to complain but that won't stop my addy being seen by all and sundry.

Hopefully thats it sorted out now, I've not had anymore from them since I emailed and they were very quick to respond so I trust they will get a fix on the glitch asap

IMO opting out of mailings means your entry probably won't be considered.

I always tick the boxes, yes my inbox has between 10-20 e-mails that I would call 3rd party contacts and it can take time each morning to seive through, but as I have a separate e-mail addy for my comps I don't let it bother me too much especially if I find a WEM or 2!!

As you can see from my signature I have been lucky so far.

I opt out of any mailings I'm not interested in and I still manage to win stuff. I don't think it makes any difference.
