are you using Internet explorer or firefox?

Internet explorer. I can't use firefox as roboform is on my IE.

    Hi,

Not sure where to post this! I'm trying to do a competition catch up but the forum keeps sticking. The thanks button won't work, clicking back doesn't help, refreshing doesn't help. I end up having to open a new window and then get all the way back to the page I was on. It's taking ages as I can only get through about 3-4 comps before it freezes again. Is it just me?

The forum's sticking for me too (in IE and FF). I think that MSE is struggling a bit at the moment under the weight of usage.

There's the results of a poll at the top of the screen, for comps per week ;)

There is no correlation between entries and wins. It's pure luck.

    Thanks :)
Yeah I noticed that, and know it's just luck, but was wondering if say those of you that win on average a prize per week how many do you enter per day?

That is an impossible question - you could enter just 1 comp a week and happen to win that 1 (it has happened that a mse'r won a biggie on their first ever entry)

On the other hand you could enter everything on the board this week and win nothing.

I would say just be sure to follow the Ts & Cs of the comps, don't be tempted to enter more than once if the rules say only one entry per person or per household.

  • Oh wow, lucky.
I know it's not a simple answer question, but just wanted to get an idea.
    Obviously not happening..
  • Hi all, Im looking for a bit of adivce from the regular winners on here. I have entered a few competitons recently and today i received an email from a competition i vaguley remember entering. It was the House of Fraser 5* trip to Dubai, in the email it asked me to call a number to claim the prize just wondering if this was normal? Don't want to call the number and be charged £50 a minute.

    Thanks

You could do two things search for the number in google to see what it comes up with or alternatively use this website Who Calls Me put the number in to see if it is scam number
