At the risk of boring the pants of some of you, can anyone advise. I have been trying for days to search the competitions by date using the instructions on the board ie

    Choose:

    sorted by - "thread title"
sort order - descending or ascending (what ever is your personal preference)

This will bring all the threads up in date order. This only works if people follow the expiry date format as posted
    here on the board.

However it does not seem to be sorting into date order for me as the post suggests.

I realise I must be doing something wrong as judging by what so many of you have posted it should be easy and should work. I am not too clever with the computer so any advice would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Nan

Its goes into days and months, ie 01/10, 01/11, 02/10, then you need to jump forward until you find where the comps for the date that interest you are. They will be in day order, but different monthes will be within each day.

I haven't explained that very well, but hope it helps.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

She did ginjim, and may I just add, if you do exactly what you described nan64, then goto page 38 all comps ending 12/09 will be displayed :D
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

Thanks Mamzie, and yes it was a good explanation - it must have been because I understood it lol!

Thanks Nicky too - that was helpful.

    Best wishes to you both.

  • hello all,

im pretty new to the competitions and would first like to say how great it is and also thanks to all those that do such a hard job in it

My question is relating to terms and conditions where is states one entry per person allowed. is this based on ISP or the actual name/details entered, my dad has asked I enter some for him but I dont want to disqualify myself in the process
July 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books

    Year to date: £786

i believe if it says one entry per person then it probably means that however if it means one per household it would mean one entry per household.
i enter one per household for all comps got enough to do without adding every tom !!!!!! or harriet
