Grrr! Just need to vent Guys, sorry
My Eldest DD (15) picked up a case of Ringworm on a charity trip to Kenya this summer, somehow the girls at her school found out about it (probably from one of the "friends" she told) She's been asking to come home from school for a couple of days because no-one will sit with her. So I told her to ignore it & they'll get bored etc (standard teasing advice) I wanted to call the school but she asked me not to as she feared this would make things worse.
She's using a cream treatment & NHS Direct website makes it clear there is no good reason to keep infected children off school (it's basically a fungal infection like athletes foot)
Anyway today she was called out of lessons by her Senior House Tutor & told that a parent had telephoned the school to make a complaint that she shouldn't be at school!! He told her he would call me but hasn't. Needless to say he will be hearing from me tomorrow but I'm SO upset for her.
There's me telling her to ignore it & the teacher comes to her to tell her there's been a complaint! I've been indoors all day so there's no way he even attempted to call me & anyhow a quick google would have given him the information he needed to send the evil parent away with a flea in her ear!
So Peed off :mad:Thanks to all who post comps :A :T0 -

rach29, kids are so very cruel....You know they ought to change the name of that bl@@dy thing cause it is not a worm..It is becaise the shape looks like a worm but its a fungal infection....AND SCHOOL is where they usually pick it up same as nits...You should sort it tomorrow and refuse to send her back without a full apology from the school. No wonder we have so much bullying...Best Competition Wins-Brand New Vauxhall Corsa & £30000
