Such a mixed day - we got told today there are loads of redundancies coming so VERY BAD at that point, but making it all better is the fact that our homes department just put huge piles of wrapping paper, ribbons, bows etc up for us all to take home, so I've got all mine sorted now. Hooray! Oh, and a nice choccy advent calendar for DS too.

The wine arrived yesterday, all the gift shopping is done and either present and correct (hehe present and correct, present, get it???) or on its way, my plane ticket is bought, and the only things left to buy are the last minute tat I inevitably get the urge to purchase (this year it's budgeted for, because I'm that good), the food for Christmas dinner and the fresh things I'm bringing home, which I will pick up two weeks today.

I should also write some Christmas cards, but that won't be till the second week of December.

    Hurrah!

yep yep yep I am waiting to pay for eBay at the moment, so that should go through and doesn't look like Tesco has tracked

we SO aren't going to get a line!!! I think we need a team strategy. Places I am likely to buy from before xmas which are on the card are : avon, eBay, photobox and possibly thorntons. What about the rest of the team mates? See if we can get a strategic line?!

If any big online spender (ok, anyone!:D) who uses Quidco all the time wants to join our team we have 1 space left !!!

Now having a small dilemma as I do each year for my Mum. I always buy her more than Dad/Grandad because they are both rubbish for buying her gifts, so the only things she has to open if things from me really and I always feel so sorry for her, when I was younger she used to wrap up her own presents to open for xmas :o. So...with that in mind and me being older I do now try and spoil her rotten. But every year I get stuck with her gift idea...

... this year she has a few bits and bobs which she basically knows about, also a Treat your Feet hamper (which is a suprise) and a Wine box (which she will know won't have cost me the original cost of £70!! therefore feel a bit tight giving this!)

So as usual I'm completely stumped... who has got some wisdom and inspiration for me to buy a few more gifts that won't break the bank......
