Morning All
Oh how I've missed you all, I've tried to catch up but you all keep posting LOL...Hopefully by the end off the weekend I will have caught up with what I've missed.
Well I've been really busy (Thats why I've not been on, but I've missed you all and all your kind words)
We had a fantastic Holiday in Ayr, Weather was great considering the time of year, had lots of trips out and loads of Fun!! It was a shame to have to come back really.
Had no rest since we got back though, kids have been sick, then me and OH got it too  so lost 4 days of Organising, My house looks like world war III has broken out, have just finished decorating the kitchen (I must be MAD!!) just waiting for the carpet fitters to come and put my new Lino down today then I can get the down stairs looking less like a war zone.
I'm so excited though as I bought a new Christmas tree online the other day and its being delivered today.............ohhhhhhhhhhhh I can't wait, it has snow and pine cone and red berry's on it I just know I'm going to want to put it up (but I know its too early).
Take Care
Sarah

morning all,
just read all the posts and xmas cakes are being mentioned- sending me crazy....love the stuff, would gladly eat a piece now but im dieting and its soooooo many calories. GOT TO WAIT TIL XMAS. I want it now.
pinkladymel- love the nappy cake. looks brill, they will love it.
roxiew-hope parents evening went well, i love dragons...love to pick up on their mistakes and keep em on their toes. my ds had one at primary. she was a sod.. hated boys and picked on them all. every week they got spellings to learn , most weeks she would get one wrong and i would take great delight in making a point of correcting her..sorry to any teachers out there i know most of you do a brill job but the odd one doesnt. hope you survived.
triggles-thanks for the calendar ideas, some i can use and adapt. we too buy a new decoration(sometimes two) each year. I have ones from when i was little, my mum was throwing them out!! so i rescued them , i can remeber them coming out every year.
sarah19179-welcome back, you sound extremely busy. take time for that kettle at least !
jetty- good luck next week, all the best
scattymam- we have a night before xmas book- had it for 17 years. Its a pop up one but traditional. A bit dog eared now but still comes out. In the loft so i cant tell you the author unfortunately, hubby says hes not going in there before the end of the month!! the misery. Do like the jolly postmans christmas though. always was a hit with the kids, plenty for them to look at and fiddle with.sealed pot member no :0812011- £306.68 2012-£304.36 2013- £387.44 2014 - £441.43

Sarah!! I was just going to post about you yesterday asking how long your holiday was!! I am so glad you had a nice time. What are you like decorating?! LOL Come back to us..
I saw the Superdrug offer as soon as it hit hotdeals last night and everything was in stock looking good.. then my Chinese arrived and I had to get off the pc before DH burst!! DAMNIT!!
Hope they honour your deals!
I feel so sad today. I know.. it's not very festive.. Everyone around me is pregnant. My sister in law has just announced she is trying for a baby. her husband, Lees brother, only lives across the road so it will be very in my face. I feel so happy for them and also happy for my brother who is having a baby in january but I feel so sad that it is not me. Does anyone else ever feel like this? I have got two beautiful children and it wouldn't be fair for me to have another (time and space) but I can't stop this feeling inside me.
Am I mental?:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
oh mel - i felt the same - hence baby number three on the way. hope i havent made you feel sad with my baby talk. i just wanted to do it one last time and all the practicalities went out of the window - however, i still have my doubtful moments where i think we should have left it as it was and be better off financially as a family. its a really tough decision and noone can make it for you. i agonised for months (much harder then deciding to have baby 1 or 2) - then we started trying - then I changed my mind but unbeknownst to me I was already pregnant so i thought, well, must have been meant to be! i do veer between excitement and sheer terror though!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

fmf - parents evening was ok. ds1 is very bright, top of the class which is great but the teacher basically admitted that she cant give him what he needs and that he's being held back by what she needs to do with the rest of the class. Looked through his work books and the work he's doing at school is much easier then what he does with me at home so I know he's not being given work thats at his level. And when every single answer is correct is a 40 page book methinks its abit easy.
Not much i can do about it though, apart from supplement his learning as much as I can at home. Trouble with that is time. We have about an hour after school before tea and he just wants to play. It makes me cross that I should have to do it with him at all when he should be getting what he needs in school hours.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

My first ever list on here! Let's hope i can stick to it lol
Today's list -
1. do as many loads of washing as possible, and get dry
2. have a quick tidy (house is looking disgraceful)
3. write a list of things needed when xmas shopping tomorrow
4. try and sort out some of ds's toys that are cluttering up the living room, as putting up the tree on saturday and the only place it can go is in his 'toy corner'. not sure where i'm going to put his toys yet, but i'm sure he doesn't need all of them, and we need to sort them out in time for xmas to make room for more stuff!!!0
