Absolutely nothing. Remember you are paying for postage and packaging and abour and all other costs associated with posting your parcel. The price as stated bears no relation to the cost of a stamp. Really when you buy something on ebay you need to consider the total cost of the item and postage and packaging.0

you knew what postage costs were when you bid on it!
nothing you can do other than VERY NICELY ask him why it cost so much less than he charged.
your statement isnt exactly clear tho,
did postage actually COST £6 and he charged you £9 ?
if so, thats a VERY REASONABLE markup, don't forget, postage and packing materials are expensive, and the bloke's time
if, however, it cost £6 and he charged you £9 extra, meaning £15, then thats a high markup,
BUT, how much was the product you purchased?, was it one of those cheap 99p start jobbies thats worth more, but profit is made up with the postage?, if so, you're clearly happy, you have your item, he has his profit, where's the complaint?money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

If you bought a product from the states then the guy will probably have had to go to a post office and queue - which he may not have to do for domestic items.
If I were selling to someone in the US I would make a markup on postage to cover the cost of doing this.0 -
Nowadays any half good jiffy padded bag costs anywhere from £2 - £10, depending on size etc. Also I live a good few miles from my postoffice therefore it will cost me time and money to post the item if recorded. You need to make sure you read all charges on listing.
Recently I purchased an MMC memory card from Hong Kong I made sure the item had postal insurance, I paid extra however if the item went missing in the post I would of been covered and plus I could track the item from overseas.0 -
Thanks mates for your reply, Actually he charged me £15 but sent item in normal post, Apparently Sellet is registered in UK and in bidding he said Item location UK but I received it from USA
, I don't mind that postage if he sent me via recorded/special delivery. "Money saving is often a science, investment is often an art."...MSE0 -

Hi
What did the description say about postage ie was it stated that it would be recorded or special , if it said sellers standard rate that can mean anything.
as said you have to take into account the P&p when bidding on items
