I used to work in our local shop & you could either have 2 large milks (cost of about £2.10 ish) or they would exchange milk tokens for £2 worth of any goods.
Thought this was a good idea as people could use their tokens for whatever was needed & a lot of people saved them up to buy nappies etc.0
